    It seems like JJ has been the player who waits late in the count, or when he falls back before he starts swinging. This defiantly isn't something that he recently took on, I've been noticing this since the very first week of the year.

    How annoying would it be trying to watch a game and all you hear is 1000s of dogs barking. Trust me I'd want my money back.

    I'm starting to think with only an hour 20 left that nothing will be done.

    I find it amazing how someone like Biggio, and shortly Glavine, can be over shadowed by A-rod getting 500 hrs or just simple things like the Cubs. Of course A-rod's achievement is a milestone in itself, but that is a lot more attainable then 300 career wins or 3000 hits. This defiantly isn't a case of small/big market teams because both are on big markets. But this is a case where name recognition really could be a big reason. Example: Say someone like Jenkins is 1 Hr shy of getting 500 homeruns. Now on a side note someone like A-rod is 1 Hr shy of getting the same milestone....who do you think ESPN/Yahoo/etc. are going to base their media on?

    I know the Dodgers were rumored to be looking at Tex, but with the recent trade between the Rangers and Braves it gets me wondering what they could be doing. If he is regarded as that good of a prospect he himself could drive alot for the Dodgers who as well are in the "win now" mode.

    Looks like peavy needs perfect examples. Theres plenty and plenty of players who COULD be good but never are, why do you think Reyes is differently? People are just starting to realize Weeks is in that boat. It happens theres to many prospects for some not to fail, even if they're good.

    Whos says we're going for a Jay Payton type player? I believe the Cubs are the ones showing interest not us. A veteran with previous experience and success would be nice. I'm not saying we need to do a trade just cause, thats just plain foolish. This team is obviously struggling big time and has been at a downward spiral for a decent amount of time. Just sticking with these players won't be getting us much farther. I'm sick of losing and I know you are two. The time should be now so lets not let what we had slip away.

    actually no i dont want him. he's overrated, had a couple good seasons so i'll gladly pass. what should be done....get a bat and possibly another reliever. enlightened?

    im refering to the top pitching prospect comment. nuggy was once, doesnt mean you name someone a top picthing prospect they are or will be.

    turnbow and cordero for a 3rd grader to be named later seems reasonable.

    after this series and last few weeks something HAS to be done....no more trades is not an option right now.

    Ah so he has one "decent" game so now you wanna trade for him? Cmon he was 0-10 and looking down right terrible. On a side note top pitching prospect...haha I think not. Sorry but I'll go get Nick Nuggy instead because he was once a "Top Pitching Prospect".
