  1. I can't wait to hear people complaining about Prince watching that home run. You know it's going to happen. Probably from Cards fans.
  2. That got out as fast as Rickie's and went as far as some of Dunn's in this park. Boomtown.
  3. Not even close. At all. Bill saw it from like 350 feet away.
  4. Carlos Gomez always looks like Mr. Happy-go-lucky. I can't imagine what he'd look like if he hit a walk off HR, however unlikely it is.
  5. Ever since I started watching the Brewers regularly in middle school, early 2000's-ish, there isn't a player I've disliked more than Betancourt. I don't care if Alex Sanchez was an idiot.
  6. 28 K's: 2BB's is pretty nuts, but maybe he's throwing too many strikes. I know he didn't really have a Spring Training and all that, but he's just given up too many hits. Is anyone warming up in the pen?
  7. Awesome at bat, but every time a pitcher walks it makes me think of Brett Myers in the playoffs against the Brewers in 2008.
  8. I cringed a little when Brian was talking about a potentially "big contract" for Casey in the offseason.
  9. Not a bad throw at all, but Smith didn't even reach second base.
  10. Although it's funny to me it was a ground ball to the left side. If the infield was in for some reason, Weeks might've been out.
  11. Nice to see Mike Rivera back. If he hits the ball hard once, he'll have outdone Nieves offensively. It'll be interesting to see what Greinke does against a pretty good offense, unlike Pittsburgh and San Diego. Carlos Gonzalez being DTD should help. I wouldn't mind if he was out three days and then back healthy by Monday.
  12. What a rough series for these umps. First sweep this year, right?
  13. Wow these are incredibly frustrating hits. I think I hate Ronny Cedeno more than I do any other terrible hitter in the league.
  14. Hopefully Mike Quade isn't watching. You wouldn't want to steal a base up 3 when there's 3.5 innings left.
  15. The thing is, even if Lucroy regresses a bit, I don't really realistic believe his OBP would drop below .330. With Hart's below average patience, he'd probably have to hit at least .280 to have that solid of an OBP. I'd rather have a guy like Hart bat 6th where his higher slugging percentage is more valuable and relatively low-ish OBP doesn't matter as much.
  16. If RRR continues to bat Lucroy behind Betancourt, he is a legitimately a dumb human being.
  17. Fine, but there's no way he should be batting any lower than 6th. Gomez and Betancourt are inferior hitters. Not only does Betancourt make out nearly 75% of the time, it seems like most are week fly/pop outs and ground balls. Even a decent amount of his hits seem to be bloopers of soft liners.
  18. That was easily a strike to Jones, you didn't even need the FoxTrax to see that. Not what Greinke needs here.
  19. He's literally going to double his pitch count this inning.
  20. Yeah, I honestly think it's just because he had the no-hitter going. Now that it's gone, he'll just go after guys since he has a 5 run lead. I think it was Walker having a really really good at-bat more than anything else. It's not like Zack was pitching around him.
  21. Didn't he say he threw a couple upper 50's curveballs when he was in KC? I think he pretty much gave the same reasoning given above, basically just for the heck of it.
