  1. If I could go, Animal Collective would be at the top of my list of bands to see there. I've seen Manchester Orchestra before. I like them better live, so if you enjoy their albums I'm sure you'll really like them.
  2. Six is a pretty big struggle. I wouldn't believe anyone could do 10 in a minute unless I saw it personally.
  3. Of all the times for Counsell to have a bad at bat. Edit: Beat me to it.
  4. Not that that inside slider to Martin was necessarily a strike, but the ump was much more liberal with Kuroda pitching in the top of the inning.
  5. Junior Seau the honorary ball man? http://gothamist.com/attachments/nyc_daveh/kramerballboy.jpg
  6. Yikes. Why am I 75% sure Furcal will get some stupid slap single to tie the game?
  7. If Brad Ausmus is involved in some sort of game tying/winning hit, I won't be able to sleep.
  8. I will never not laugh when I see that picture of Suppan. Did something happen to Braun?
  9. I don't think one person would've guessed that Manny Parra would bat in the 8th inning today.
  10. Did Mark Loretta just use Creed as his walk-up song? That may drop him from one of my favorite Brewers...
  11. I'd say the last two innings are more indicative of the Nationals record than the first two games of this series.
  12. It'd be really nice to score a couple here to not have to use Hoffman for the third straight day.
  13. I saw this a couple days ago and didn't think it was all that funny. I thought they'd at least comment about the stadium, all they do is have fans comment about fans at Miller Park. I thought it was a really cool idea for the series if they'd point out the negatives of each stadium, but it's basically just about the fans everywhere. I was really excited to read the Wrigley one as well and thought it could've been a lot better.
  14. 42 consecutive batters, unreal.
  15. Figured I'd give this a bump rather than starting a new thread, a couple friends and I are going to the Brewers series in early September. Does anyone know if the Millenium Hotel charges extra for parking? I didn't find anything on their website but noticed a lot of other hotels around the area charged extra for it. Not really a big deal, especially if it's within walking distance, just curious though. Would it be unrealistic to expect to be able to buy tickets the day of? It's a Tuesday-Thursday series if that makes a difference, we were hoping to just get there early for the Tuesday game and buy for all 3 games right away. We're looking to sit in the Outfield Box once, the Bleachers once, and then their Outfield Terrace Reserved for one game, not sure if any of those fill up quickly or if we'd be better off just buying online before we leave. If anyone has any answers it'd be much appreciated!
  16. I don't think it matters what for if the Brewers got rid of Suppan.
  17. I know I'll sound like BA and Bill, but I really hope this means Hart will find his "stroke"
  18. I know Lopez slowed down, but how do you send him there after knowing that? Just stupid in the first inning with only 1 out.
  19. I really feel Akon deserves a mention in this thread. He doesn't have one particular song that I think is the worst ever, but his lyrics are just laughable. If you saw the lyrics to "Dangerous" before actually hearing the song, you'd probably think it's a parody by Flight of the Conchords or Lonely Island or something like that. It doesn't help that several bars in La Crosse play like 5 songs by him in a 2 hour span.
  20. I don't even think Ryan Doumit would believe you if you told him he'd have a game where he hit two home runs and was also intentionally walked.
  21. I really like the DiFelice-Stetter 1-2 punch. Too bad they can't be the entire bullpen.
