  1. There would still be six available - Loe, Saito, Hawkins, KRod, Axford and Dillard/DLC if one was sent out. Narveson was activated and inserted into the rotation so they have 6 starters/7 relievers for the time being until Narv is available for bullpen duty.
  2. Interesting defensive alignment today. Wondering if Wilson plays behind the ump or if both catchers are in front. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  3. I think RR said he planned to keep the 5 starters in line through the end of the season or until we need to align things for the playoffs. I wonder if they would use Narveson on Sunday vs. the Cubs and Greinke on Tuesday vs. the Cards. Since they both pitch today they have that option. Not sure if it would be ideal for Greinke to pitch Monday and then 8 days later is the only thing.
  4. Thanks for the coverage map. Being in Chicagoland, I guess I can stay at work longer and not rush home to see the game. Forcast for Chicago isn't good though for the Cubs/Cards game to take place either though.
  5. I like this thread better than the countdown to 82 wins from a few years ago. That is proof of how far we've come!
  6. Sounds like Garcia could use some anger management. Seems like a nice guy though as long as you don't upset him or do anything to get him out of his routine. I figured the home/road splits was due to him being able to cheat at home but not on the road but I guess I'm not TLR after all.
  7. Why not put the ball on a tee for Pujols, just in case one gets away from someone.
  8. They must have left some of the TLR quotes out for space issues in the print copy. Fixed it with the missing words in paranthesis. "We win the right way and we lose the right way. We’ve received a lot of compliments over the years (from our own fans) that when we lose we tip our caps (and complain about the lighting and accuse the other teams of cheating) and when we win we keep our mouths shut. That’s my comment."
  9. Hoping Prince hits the first pitch about 500 ft and then stands at home plate for 5 minutes to admire it before rounding the bases.
  10. On a scale of 1-10 about 800 billion. It would be worth the 10 game suspension too. The thought of that happening is too funny.
  11. the glacier bay and hubbard is just cruising though the bay but you get about 100 yards from the glaciers that are falling into the water. Pretty remarkable. Not sure if you have a balcony or not but we camped out on the balcony for most of the bay cruising. did go up deck once while the ship was turned away from the glacier and it was pretty crowded. Not sure about July but in early June the weather at the ports wasn't too bad, a tshirt was comfortable mid-day but sitting on the balcony in the bay we had on tshirts, sweatshirts and spring jackets and were still cold. Must have been in the 30s I would guess. I would think it wouldnt be much warmer in July with all the ice around so plan accordingly.
  12. Wife and I did an Alaskan cruise last May and it was absolutely amazing but we went Vancouver north towards Anchorage on a Princess cruise. The cruising in Glacier Bay was the most scenic views I've ever seen. A must do in Juneau is the Mendenhall Glacier Helicopter Tour, the ride to and from the glacier is great but being able to walk on a moving sheet of ice isn't something you can do any day. We also did a banana boat ride to a remote island for a hike in Ketchikan and a train/bus combo to the Yukon territory in Skagway. But everyone we talked to that did something different at each port enjoyed what they did so I'm not sure if you can go wrong. Glad we were able to do it before the twins came this spring and something I would do again in 20-25 years once they are off to college. If you stay over in Vancouver I would recommend the Capilano Suspense Bridge as something to do. Don't expect any remants of the Olympics they were already gone 3 months later last year. Will be glad to help answer any other question too.
  13. Aren't we a man down after Scarpetta was sent back to Huntsville on Sunday? So no corresponding move will be needed for now. And the BP was short with Gamel being up until Sunday too.
  14. You are looking at the demand side but the supply is also less now which raises the price of the remaining relievers out there. Did I just use Econ 101 on brewerfan.net?
  15. Looks like 4 of the 5 (Ramos being the exception) MIA DSL players are now listed on the AZL roster per MiLB.
  16. I am down in Chicagoland and the mlb.tv is blacked out for me as well. Not sure if its because I work for a Wisconsin based company so they think my computer is located in Madison.
  17. I agree with you on Lucroy. He has become my favorite Brewer to watch. Really have liked what he has done so far since coming back from the pinky injury. Hopefully, I get more than 5 years out of the Lucroy t-shirt I purchased back in April.
  18. Also it sounded like Parra was getting close to coming back too, likely this week per an article on brewers.com. I am guessing they will send out one of the lefties although Parra is slated to be long relief and thus won't be used in the same way Stetter or Braddock are.
  19. My wife is a Brewers/Bears fan although she doesn't like football so it's not that big of a deal. She's just not a fan of the Packers. She grew up in IL and was a Sox fan until we started dating.
  20. No I would be one of those anti-Favre guys that was overly annoyed how anti-Rodgers the media became without knowing the full story.
  21. Must have talked to ARodg and heard that if you blow off people with illness you win championships. Edit - should have been blue - sorry if anyone took the wrong way.
  22. Gotta love Comcast down in Chicago. They are showing the Angels and TB game that started at 5:40 and will be joining the Brewers game in progress. So about the 5th or 6th inning. Thanks. Glad I just paid $180 for the MLB Ticket to get half games. Not to mention they show one game per day in HD. Guess I can watch the game from yesterday that I taped until the other game is over.
