On the "up" side, if he gets more than three at-bats, it should mean the Brewers weren't no-hit by a AA callup. That scraping noise you hear is me at the bottom of the barrel.

There's a newish metal roof in our neighborhood (on Monroe St near the Edgewood schools), but it's orange. Just promise me you won't get an orange roof.

Nearly-meaningless trivia: there is no K-Rod merchandise at the Brewers Team Store as of Thursday afternoon. Not surprisingly, he will wear #75 (per brewers.com).

True, the quoted sentence above is problematic. But look at what I bolded: Someone at ESPN suggesting that the NL Central has to keep up with the Brewers. I know 97% of what ESPN says is knee-jerk, but that's just pleasantly different.

Agreed - an immediate corresponding move may not be necessary...but doesn't it seem like the Brewers have a surplus of relievers now? Maybe not all awesome relievers, but still. Plus they still need a different SS.

Robin19, you could practically stand in for my S.O.** For EVERY 7th inning stretch he hopes out loud for a "one more time" barrel round, and he's disappointed 99 percent of the time. (They do find time for it once in a blue moon.) I keep suggesting he should lower his expectations on Sundays at least, since they now have to cram three songs into the mid-inning break. **Edited to clarify that jaderheyski has nothing to be concerned about. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif But Robin19 and my S.O. are the same kind of Brewers fan.
