  1. Come on, Brewers. Stop feeding the ESPN frenzy.
  2. If you attend tonight's Rattlers game and see a woman in section 126 rocking a Toby's Power 50 t-shirt, it's very likely me, so say hi if you want.
  3. Part of me would settle for a non-embarrassing outing. Let's go, Brewers. I will pay attention from the T-Rats game at MP tonight.
  4. 'Tis no men. 'Tis a remorseless baseball machine.
  5. Remember, Brewers: They're just guys - like you, only paid extra outlandishly.
  6. I've sent you a PM.
  7. I cannot help you unload the tickets as we are already going. However, I wanted to point out (I hope without being too nitpicky) that the game is Wednesday 6/29, not Thursday.
  8. This was possibly the perfect weather day for a ballgame. It was also a good time to have "good Narvdog" on the mound (and at the plate!). So the Brewers are now an astounding 13-4 in games we have attended this season, and I'm grateful for it. I remember a time when the Brewers were rocking a AAA/A lineup, though, so I admit I feel some sympathy for Twins fans. The sheer volume of injuries they're facing lately - yeesh.
  9. Right ankle sprain for Delmon Young. At least he wasn't taken for a ride.
  10. A very similar remark was made in the hawing household. Tip of the cap.
  11. You mean he figured it wouldn't carry? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif Incidentally, despite the Yuku weirdness lately, the chat room is operational. Just saying...
  12. Brewerfan: providing dining advice to the stars since Thursday. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  13. Can you check the call history and google the number to find out at least the school?
  14. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/images/2011/06/22/72NuWWSW.jpg What's up with Ryan here?
  15. The thread title looks like something that we'd see in The Onion or on Deadspin.
  16. There was a fatal bus/pedestrian accident on the UW-Madison campus this morning. The victim was a campus library employee - not my library, not my SO's library, not someone I knew but possibly someone the SO knew - but that really doesn't make it less chilling and awful. Everyone, watch your step out there.
  17. I don't blame Dillard for this. It's not his fault that he is a ROOGY. It's not his fault that Braun can't catch a routine fly ball. He's actually locating his pitches well today. OK, thanks. It's good to have the additional context.
  18. Chiming in late because I can only peek occasionally at Gameday...is this the end of whatever Dillard honeymoon there was?
  19. So maybe they should have rested Shaun until the road interleague schedule resumes.
  20. Stay well, Shaun. And the rest of you Brewers, back him up!
  21. Thanks for the thought. We stayed dry in the park, needed rain jackets to keep from getting drenched going back to the car, and it took a while to get home because of the rain and traffic. I enjoyed this game, but I'd forgotten that out-of-town-scoreboard watching can also be fun. Woot for the Phillies' 9-spot! Bob Davidson was soundly booed when the umpiring crew was announced. I chimed in on behalf of all of you. I also knew you'd all want me to ask Yuni, as he circled the bases in the 2nd, why he couldn't have done that Monday night, or at least taken a pitch when we were all yelling at him to do so. The Brewers are now 12-4 when we go to games. I don't know what's crazier, that winning percentage or the fact that we have been to 16 games already.
  22. Save us, Zack Greinke! Reactivate my fan crush. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  23. If the Brewers win the World Series in 2011, I will personally kick in $10 toward Larry Schaefer's WS ring. I will drop it off at MP when I am stocking up on championship gear.
  24. BetanFAIL. How many times can we type TAKE TAKE TAKE in the chat room before he gets the message? Maybe this AB will finally get people to realize that enough is enough, hawing said hopefully. (Edit: I mean, people besides us. At least this game, if lost tonight, would not be lost in vain.)
