  1. I think I've decided whose 2010 all-star jersey I'm wearing to Tuesday's game. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  2. What is it you do again? (Just trying to give you a "work related" reason to post. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif)
  3. Good lord, PBIB, talk about dodging a bullet. I don't think I could live in a place that gets tornadoes without a basement. I'm too storm phobic. Even here in Madison we bypassed a house that lacked a basement (it was across the street from Wingra Creek).
  4. Kind of a weird game - to score three runs on one odd play - but I'll take it. I don't know where the humidity was, but I was plenty comfortable (though in the shade). Today's fans were relatively attentive and pretty enthusiastic for a Sunday crowd. One thing that struck me was the stadium-wide fan love for Casey. Big cheers when he was introduced, at every at-bat, when he robbed Tulo of a hit (I was cheering then too). It's like today's promotion brought every inner Casey fan out of the woodwork. I'm not a hater by any means; I just haven't ever super-bonded with Casey like I have with a few favorites. Wouldn't it be nice if the Brewers could stay above .500 now?
  5. If we have to drive through thunderstorms (again) to get home, let's at least see a good game first, Brewers. Thanks!
  6. I am coming to hate the phrase "one strike away." But sometimes it works! Brewers win!
  7. It comes down to the roider. I guess more specifically a roider. Edit: Stupid 40 year old roider. And great, the former Mallard Ryan Spilborghs is pinch running.
  8. I can only think that Tulowitzki is always extra motivated to do well vs. Milwaukee, though you'd think in that case he'd have hit that to Ryan. Well...come on, Ax.
  9. I admit to not having had a strong opinion when Ax gave fans the opportunity to vote for his warmup music, but I've taken to New Noise. Come on, John - no Sunday rubber game, please!
  10. Dave Nilsson Henry Blanco Paul Bako Eddie Perez Chad Moeller Damian Miller Johnny Estrada Jason Kendall Jonathan Lucroy ....I hope so! Greg Zaun, baby. Greg Zaun. Unless you really highly value the small sample, including Gregg Zaun might only support topper09er's point. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  11. Just saying, the chat room is occupied, though my glamorous trips to the laundry mean I'm alternately active and idle.
  12. JonLuc goin' deep. I'm going to believe it looked good. I heard an interview of his maybe two weeks ago, where he acknowledged that he's not a home run hitter, so he wasn't up there trying to hit home runs. All his home runs for 2011 have happened since that interview. I want to see hear Bob Apodaca visiting the mound.
  13. I'm already tired of their CarGo. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif At least FOX isn't irritating me even more by preventing us from video evidence of a Brewer-pitched no-hitter.
  14. Oh yeah, that would have sailed right over you. Sweet. Post-game highlights, including the home run calls
  15. The call should be on the Brewers Radio Network podcast page by sometime tomorrow later today. The 5-20-11 Game Wrap will be a summary of the whole game, not just the game ending call, but having heard it live, it'll be worth the full play.
  16. 17. I'm pretty sure we'll hear their take on the night. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  18. We couldn't attend this game so we sold our tickets to a colleague who was going to take his son to his first MLB game. I am hoping against hope they stayed to the end.
  19. I feel pretty good about following this one to the end. http://img4.sunset.com/i/2009/07/cheese-classic-l.jpg?400:400
  20. The Brewers have finally updated their at-bat music page for 2011, though it doesn't look entirely accurate.
  21. I'm not sold on Wil Nieves' future with the Brewers, but I'm glad he got that out.
  22. Yuni gives hope, Yuni takes hope away. Well, try to keep it in check.
  23. http://digitallydelicious.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/grilled_cheese_sandwich.jpg Cheese sandwiches, anyone?
