  1. He could be demanding that for anyone's birthday. (But since I think it's his, happy birthday, TC.)
  2. Record at Brewer Games: Home: 3-0 Away: 0-0 Next Game: Unknown BB4life, you've got to get to some more games.
  3. That picture of Hothead Z could stand up to a caption contest. "I could have had a V-8!" "Oh no, I forgot to pay my DSL bill." "Where's some Head On that I could apply directly to my forehead?"
  4. That breeze you feel is everyone in Miller Park exhaling. I thought the wind kicked up recently...
  5. That picture is great. Carlos, you really do miss JJ, don't you?
  6. BHF, if you wear your prom outfit to the signing, Bill Hall will always remember you. Look at it that way.
  7. Peavey beat me to the observation. What Brewer would better understand a guy wearing pink than Bill Hall? You should bring a printout of this thread to the signing. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  8. I am ready for one of Bush's buckle down games tomorrow. It would be a great time for "good Dave Bush", wouldn't it?
  9. I don't blame him for trying to defend one of his guys. It shows the strength of the team, IMO. Given the choice, I'd rather hear cliches like "it's a team loss" than having teammates throwing teammates under the bus (especially in mid-April).
  10. Hoping to see Corey get a start tomorrow! Looking at the chart o' splits, you'd surely think he would.
  11. Dare I say it: I'm sitting here wondering if Cecil Cooper would be a better manager than Yost. Early in the game, either Ueck or JP was talking about how Cooper will be a big league manager someday...and I wondered the odds of his being the next Brewers' manager. Just theoretically, but yeah, it occurred to me. If necessary, it's a move I could get behind.
  12. I'd say "get back on the horse", but that doesn't feel like the right thing to say this weekend.
  13. Anyone want to sponsor www.firenedyost.com ? The name was registered the other night. Link
  14. Seconded. What a moronic statement. Is "thirded" a word? He fields his position better? Is he better at fielding than at pitching? That sounds like a lame excuse. I'd honestly rather hear something that's just plain lame (like "I guess he didn't have it tonight...again.") I'm not as fed up with Ned as some of you, but that does not compute.
  15. Powell mentioned it the other night on the radio...not sure if it was directed at BF.net, but it certainly applies. I heard the same thing, fstorm, and wondered the same thing you must have. To me it felt like JP stopped just short of saying "...like on brewerfan.net." Aquino delivered vs. Florida the other night. Maybe the key is not saving him for inherited-runners situations. Or maybe he's completely lost it. Problem is, even two crummy outings in four games isn't iron-clad proof of anything.
  16. I really wish Aquino would be out of here tonight.... but of course it won't happen because Ned thinks "he has it". Though he appeared to "have it" the other day in Florida. Rather to my surprise, but still. I suppose there are D-backs fans chuckling over this.
  17. Check out Albers pic on Brewers.com. He looks like a total punk. He does have a look that would normally be accompanied by a swagger. C'mon Brewers, wipe that smirk off his face.
  18. Explanation of "Brewers Squeeze Play" To answer the question a few posts back.
  19. 17,386 paid to see it. That's the small crowd of the year to date. Edit: I'm now looking forward to this Brewers Squeeze Play tonight.
  20. I believe that's a small-sample sweep.
  21. I'm tapping on my keyboard wrist rest, to simulate the 2-out-bottom-9th clapping that I assume is underway at the park. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  22. (For whatever reason, I imagine Ned's thoughts on things to include lots of Capital Letters.) They are Important Concepts, so you are Right On Target to capitalize.
  23. How worried should I be? I'm only able to peek between data entries.
  24. Maybe call him 21st Century Ignitor. I'll just point out here that it was 20 years ago this afternoon that the Easter Sunday miracle game occurred.
  25. I'd consider Villanueva for 3 innings to conserve the pen. You win at Ned Yost's life!
