  1. If they put him on waivers, nobody would claim him. Nobody's taking on the contract of a .550 OPS CFer, let alone trading for him.
  2. The offense that has averaged like 5 and a half runs a game since we acquired Adames? This guy is not your average pitcher. Neither is Woodruff and the Sox have 3 runs. It's the 4th inning.
  3. Really think it's time to move Yeli down to 6 or 7. More than enough guys capable of hitting in the top of the order that we can handle his bat not being there.
  4. The offense that has averaged like 5 and a half runs a game since we acquired Adames?
  5. If Degrom comes back reasonably soon, he'll get enough innings, I would think.
  6. The White Sox tv broadcast explained how and why the Brewers were allowed to challenge the call at the plate, and why the reversal was upheld. Lot's to unpack, but at the end, it all made sense.
  7. Yup. He hasn't been lighting up box scores but he puts the ball in play when he has to.
  8. I really hope what the bucks do has no bearing on the Brewers operation. Make smart decisions and don't blow all your too prospects on a dumb or bad deal because fans supported the bucks. Make good deals, if they are there. Don't overpay to chase something and end up buried with no farm for 3-4 years.
  9. Buddy Hield doesn't grade out defensively very well at all. I obviously haven't seen a lot of Kings games, so I don't know how much his D value is reliant on his teammates, but he grades out pretty poorly. One of the things DDV does well is play solid D. I'm just not sure what you're trying to move DDV for. He's young, still (relatively) cheap, and plays pretty good D, and rebounds really well for a guard. We don't need a ton of buckets from him, so he's doing everything the Bucks need, and then some.
  10. Nelson Cruz has put up some pretty prodigious power numbers in his career. Not bad for a guy who didn't really become a full time regular til he was 28.
  11. Mike Trout is on pace to be one of the top 10 players in the history of the game. That's probably the wrong benchmark to use. Some prospects might only turn out to be as good as like Corbin Burnes or Brandon Woodruff.
  12. I want him just because he hit a homerun off of Willians Astudillo on a 3-0 pitch and Tony LaRussa scolded him for it. Again, mostly joking, but like 12% serious.
