  1. "Gets some separation" Yeah, that was a push off.
  2. Phoenix is gonna shoot 50 three pointers if we keep denying the drive and midrange shots
  3. You're right. Everyone is allowed to feel how they feel. I also agree on that. I find it a little odd that even myself, a fan used to frustration and failure is seeing a lot of doom and gloom after one game where we (for sure) got whooped. We got CLOWNED by the Nets. CLOWNED. I know they had a lot of injuries, but if there was a series we looked completely overmatched, that was it. It's the finals! I wanna enjoy this. Even if we lose. It's the first finals since I was born. I'm not trying to prepare myself for the eventual let down that's probably going to happen. This is exciting crap for us!
  4. Keep going inside. Crowder is as much of a liability as Lopez is on the other end.
  5. We were down 0-2 to the Nets and that was bleak too. We lost game one to ATL and we "lost home court". We lost Giannis and that series was over. I'll consider this series bleak if we lose one on our home floor. I'm not going to be jazzed if we lose tonight, but that's the nature of 7 game series. I mean a team down 2-0 wins the series 13% of the time. Everyone can feel how they want to feel about it, but to me, that's bleak. The fact that it happened against the Nets doesn't make it any more or less likely to happen again. I'm not writing off the series if they lose tonight, but obviously 1-1 changes the outlook greatly. 3 years ago we lost a series we were up 2-0 and were absolutely going to win. ANything above zero percent means it's not over.

  7. I admire how much passion certain people have about Josh hader getting more than 3 outs in a game.
  8. Hader has now allowed three runs in over half a season. Every once in a while somebody's going to swing really hard and accidentally hit one of his fastball. It happens we can't expect him to pitch a whole season and just not allow runs ever. Inexplicably, I don't get saving the rest of your good relievers for a save situation later that may not occur. It just doesn't make sense.
  9. We'll see. Nets clowned us game 1 and 2. Atl stole game 1 in MKE. Not like they haven't been here before. People talking up PHX like they're some kind of super team. They're good. Maybe slightly better than the Bucks. (Better coach). This isn't like the powerhouse Warriors or title run Bulls. If we lose, we lose. But it's not over.
  10. Didn't struggle with 3's, but really struggled with inside shots and couldn't get to the line until it didn't matter. Let's see how much Bud adjusts.
  11. Might not win this game, but they easily could have caved when they were down 20, and they are at least making Phoenix play the rest of the game.
  12. I don't think they have to do that but they probably need to get Lopez off the floor for 24+ minutes per game to start with. He's getting exposed defensively. Shoot better (Not great, just better). Hope that Giannis continues to improve his knee. WIll all those happen? I doubt it. It is what it is. The Nets series was declared over about 74 times, so I'm gonna watch the games before I just give up and find other things to do.
  13. They're not having a bad game, that's the problem. They're just not as good. Lopez is playing like butt. Holiday is 2/8 shooting. Middleton is 5/13. There's definitely things they could be doing better.
  14. "all these years" is three years. They made it to game 7 of the NLCS against the Dodgers who had double the payroll the Brewers have. The Dodgers had to go to the playoffs 8 times in a row before they won it all, but it seems like nothing short of instant gratification is going to win you over here.
  15. That's gonna be tough to overcome. Can't keep losing each quarter by 4.
  16. I can't wait til next year when these guys going up and kicking defenders and trying to draw fouls get called for offensive fouls. What will James Harden's skill set actually be then?
  17. So... that's a foul on Booker but not Middleton? Midds needs to sell the contact better.
  18. It's the 2nd quarter and we're only down 7. We have a run or two left in us yet.
  19. Those bunnies are gonna come back to haunt them.
  20. watching Booker take off balance jumpers and lean into our defenders is as annoying as it was watching Harden do it.
  21. I feel like he's making really bad decisions every time he touches the ball. Ball hits his hands and he feels required to take a dumb shot. Far cry from his game 6 performance Not saying he's nto taking bad shots, but he does have 4 assists.
