  1. Yeah. On my phone. Hard to use.
  2. Semi Spoilery post ahead! Warning some spoiler s ahead! I saw this three days ago, and everything that my mind is telling me is that I really enjoyed this movie. Several massively enjoyable moments. Several insanely absurd comic book moments that have been built up to that just weren't possible until now. I just won't go into further detail, other than to say ridiculous things that you just don't see outside of comic books. Some great character moments. And a story that wildly diverged from the original Infinity War storyline. All that being said, they took a character who has been a Cornerstone for a decade and turned him into a big fat punchline, and never let him redeem himself. The movie, and that characters arc really feels incomplete to me and that's really a shame after 22 movies, taking one of the four main characters and just saying well we aren't going to kill you off we're just going to turn you into a joke now. Dumb....imo
  3. I'd still like to see Lopez see 12 to 15 minutes on the floor. He's still presents a perimeter threat, and he can give Mirotic and ilyasova a breather. At the very least I'd like to see him stay on the floor just enough so he's not rusty for the next few rounds.
  4. Boston got a win, but I didn't expect the home team to win every game of the series. It's a series now.
  5. REALLY nice to see Bledsoe play well and be assertive and driving and kicking out and knocking down 3's.
  6. Granted, the first game was the Bucks we saw a few times this season. Hopefully, it's out of their system now. I think when you're a 60 win team, that team we saw in game one..... I wouldn't expect to show up too often.
  7. Funny, Deadspin had an article today just bashing the Bucks because Bud and Giannis said they weren't going to change their gameplan in response to the Celtics winning game 1 big. Look, I get it, you lost a playoff game, and you looked bad. But this is the Bucks. You don't change what you did for 82 games that made you the best team in the league (in a dominating fashion) because you got spanked in ONE game. You come out, play your game, and be a better version of yourselves.
  8. Bucks are starting to be assertive. This is the Bucks we have been watching for 86 games.
  9. Yeah, it's one thing for Patty C to get a few minutes here and there to give someone a breather, but he's getting regular rotational minutes and he's just a liability on the floor.
  10. Nice ball movement. Giannis driving and dishing is what they NEED
  11. Daniel Murphy looks like someone who should be entering his 12th year of college and still thinks keg stands and driving around the circuit on Saturday night is good times.
  12. Wow, Desmond was fully laid out for that one. All you can do is tip your hat to the guy and move on. What a grab.
  13. Absolutely no idea why Braun is still hitting in the three spot. I don't really have a problem with him playing four or five days a week, but the days of him being a three-hitter are way gone
  14. Isn't Thames option for next year like 7.5 million? Why not just exercise that? Thames takes a lot of walks, and even when not hitting, usually carries a decent OBP. I guess I just see Thames upside as slightly higher than Moose's, if all we're going to do is put Moose at 1B.
  15. If that's what the front office thinks is the best course of action, I've got no problem with it. As much as I would've loved for Peralta, Burnes & Woodruff to each make 25-30 starts & throw 150ish innings this year all while the team stayed competitive in an improved National League, that was always a longshot. Woodruff made a case last night to stay in the rotation. He needs to work on pitch count and being more efficient, but I don't think he's getting taken out of the rotation yet.
  16. If you're going by the baseball reference "leverage" stat block, then yes. Hader has also been worse (over his career) in what baseball reference deems "high leverage", as has been almost any reliever. If there are men on base, you give up more runs than when men aren't on base. Relievers are also almost always pitching in later innings. Craig Kimbrel has a higher OPS against by almost a hundred points in "high leverage" than he does "medium leverage" situations. I don't think anyone would say that means he's not a great reliever. This is not to say that Jacob Barnes is some amazing find. But continuing to use this "leverage" index against Barnes is just an obscure usage. Barnes "late and close" index is relatively close to his career numbers. 2 out w/RISP he's actually better than his career numbers. There's a lot of numbers here that people can massage to make a case, but if you just continue to take one thing (high leverage) and say "he's not good at this"..... what's the context? 7th inning and later? Game within 2 runs? Who's definition of leverage? There's a lot of statistics out there that say he's been reasonably adequate in these situations over his career. If the Brewers wanna dump Barnes, I'm ok with that, but using the narrow definition of "High Leverage" to say he can't pitch certain innings is false, and there's data to back that up.
  17. I find it interesting that Lugo is referred to as "Not a hard thrower" and he's hitting 94-95. I can remember a time (not long past) when he would have been referred to as a flame thrower.
  18. Do I really need to precede every statement of mine with "I think", or was the intent and meaning of my post understood? I think pretty much everyone would agree that if the Bucks lose the first two at HOME the series is likely over. Not me.
  19. Yea, he should never face righties, but not CCs fault this time. It is CC's fault. Barnes vs. LHB isn't ideal, but Claudio vs RHB turns all RHB into slow pitch softball sluggers. He had to know bringing in Claudio would prompt the Mets to PH a RHB. If you can't anticipate that kind of move, you're not doing your job.
