  1. Barnes comes into a tie game and strikes out Nimmo and then gets a routine fly ball and Gamel just flat out drops it. You want to see if he can pitch in late/close, and the defense lets him down.
  2. For the record, 20 times in NBA history, a team has come back from a 2-0 deficit to win a series. But we haven't lost game 2 yet, so I don't think it's quite that dire yet.
  3. I'm trying not to rag on the officiating, because the Bucks are getting to the line, but there is a lot of uncalled hard contact on Giannis this game that's leading into why Horford + have been so effective.
  4. Connaughton needs to stop shooting.
  5. Bucks erased a 15 point deficit in the 2nd quarter in less than 3 minutes. Not turning this off yet.
  6. Horford is a good player, but letting him just shut down your all-world superstar like this ?(just like the C's had it drawn up) seems like the Bucks had no idea this was what the Celtics were ABSOLUTELY GOING TO TRY TO DO. This lead isn't insurmountable, but it has that feel, like the Bucks just aren't in this game right now.
  7. Great thing about this team is they don't need Giannis to have a great game to win. Lots of weapons. It is slightly concerning that Giannis has been bottled up so easily, it seems. No doubt. He'll find his rhythm and start being more aggressive to the rack, I suspect.

  9. I meant 2:45 So close, 15-0 run in 2:42
  10. It's not halftime of game one yet. Detroit was leading at half time of one of their games, IIRC. I'm not even saying we're going to lose. Just don't know why anyone expected an easy series. I think a few people said it would be easy. I think most people (here) expect the Bucks to win a hard fought series.
  11. See... Lead already cut in half. R-E-L-A-X :D

  13. If the Bucks continue to take mid-range jumpers and off balace 3's, they may continue to shoot 25%....
  14. Bucks won't continue shooting 25%. That's what I'm gonna tell myself right now.
  15. I like Moose. He seems like a Brewers type guy, but he just doesn't fit. Hiura is gonna be here sooner rather than later, and there's just too many other pieces that play the corners.
  16. Gonna start deleting posts that dont stay on point guys. Argue and whatever all you want but this constant need to claim youre being attacked when someone disagrees with you is getting tired. Someone disagreeing with you is not an "attack" or a bash.
  17. How come you didn't post this one last night/morning? We won both games, BTW. This game, win or lose notwithstanding, should tell us something has to change with this pen moving forward. Wilson throwing batting practice during game conditions, jeffress no velo, no command, JUST A PITCHER NOW. At the present time this bullpen stinks. And to consider putting woody or Burnes to pen to save money, at there developmental expense makes me angry and sad. That is an assumption by you. Woodruff hasn't been moved to the pen. They could move him to the pen to limit his innings. They could move him to the pen to help the pen. They could move him to the pen because he could prove to be innefective as a starter. There are a lot of reasons to move a starter to the pen. The Cardinals are one team that develops a lot of starters as relievers first. I'm not saying that's the right way/only way, but it is a way to develop young pitchers. You have this narrative built in your head and refuse to accept anything other than your narrative as fact, and saying it over and over, every day, in every thread you post in doesn't make it any more true.
  18. If he can limit his pitch count and get some 6 inning starts occasionally, he has an outside chance to approach 180 or even 200 k's.
  19. This is all fair, but Hader has given up 3 homers. Lets let the season play out a while before we declare him a gopher ball in waiting.
