    I sure hope the DD contract extension talk blows over now. The guy can't throw a strike to save a life, and we're a third of the way through the season.

    Ry, I agree it wasn't the right move, but the truth is Turnbow has struggled lately. He needs to get in there and "get the job done" so to speak. Maybe getting yanked in a save situation will get his head on STRAIGHT. Who knows though? Only he does.

    Jenks is SO un-clutch. He never comes up big when we need him.

    I absolutely guarantee that even if Turnbow doesn't get Howard there, that he preserves the win. C'mon Peavey, I agree with you on a lot of stuff, but there is no "guarantees" in this game. None. Not a single one.

    I'm not trying to be a jerk, but why is everyone worried about Turnbow's "head"? Is he a mental case that's going to fall apart at the seams because of this? I'd hope not, he's a grown adult who plays a game at the highest level, and he's out there to get a job done. Right or wrong to take him out, he wasn't getting the job done. I'm more worried about winning than not hurting people's feelings.

    Ya, that must be Sveums fault. He should have known Burrel would make a perfect barehand pickup, throw a strike, and the catcher makes a perfect block. 1. Obviously, I'm pissed seeing Hardy get gunned, AND hurt. So I'm making a comment out of anger. 2. It's happening a lot, which fuels my comment.

    Ok, I don't blame stuff on coaches, I think base coaches have very little impact on the game, but we're getting too many guys thrown out at home, and now JJ is hurt.

    I should be excited with the top of our order coming up.... But with the 2 hitter around .240 and the 3 hole guy hitting .260, I just can't. nice inning by SHouse though.

    especially considering that Miller hit a double play ball right afterwards. No runner on base, the situation changes. There's no guarantee Lidle throws the same pitch with Koskie not on base.

    Bad through to Fielder from Hall ties the game Huh? It was deep in the hole and he had to throw on the run (away from the bag) to have ANY chance at all of getting Nady. It would have been a miracle if he HAD got him.

    I can't believe we have 4 runs on Pedro right now. He's simply dealing. He's made exactly 2 "mistake" pitches, and it's our good fortune that both times the batter was able to capitolize on his mistakes. He doesn't make them very often.
