  1. 04/10/04 Redding (Miller) @ Sheets (Obermueller) The lingering effects of a long Opening Day?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  2. Anyone thinking about shelling out the 150 for the MLB package? I probably will. I'm just a baseball junkie and a late night person. Being a night owl, it's nice that there's usually at least 1 west coast game on every night. As for tonight's game, if there is no local broadcast and they are advertising it as being on the package, it should be on. It will probably be the Cards broadcast, but take what you can get, right? I know ESPN has a broadcast tonight, so I'm surprised at the number of games listed for the package.
  3. I don't think it's corrected as this message is being entered at 9:05 Milwaukee time. What does the posting say? EDIT-Nevermind the minuteshttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif , it's the hour I'm looking at.
  4. It's early, but it's nice to have Luis back.
  5. Great, there goes our privacy.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  6. Who is he? I watched some of that game but, YAWN, couldn't take any more of that UCLA "offense". More like offensive.
  7. Brooks and now Conti (again). Talk about unsung heroes night. Conti has 5 RBI. Let's win this one and knock the Cards further out of the race.
  8. Those PH numbers, along with his versatility, make him a major asset to this team. Let the Brooks love fest continue.
  9. BROOKS!!!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  10. HR by Kieschnickhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif .
  11. Regarding Kieschnick, it sure would be fun to see him take one of those monster "helicopter hacks" vs. one of Schmidt's high heaters.
  12. Well, isn't this a great start? 4-0 Giants in the 1st. Sutton at the end of the 1st: Something to this effect:"A couple of walks, couple of hits, an error, but Kinney pitched out of it." Huh? How did he pitch out of giving up hits and walking guys when the score is 4-0?
  13. If you can think of a negative, it applies. I only hope that when we are a playoff-type team in a couple (?!) of years that we are not a bunch of flatland jackas*es like them. My apologies to the censors, but Chicago fans are what they are: big-mouthed as**oles. I try to be "cool", but those people are at the bottom of the evolutionary totem pole. Fine, win the division and lose right away. Whatever. Those clowns cheer every pop-up as though it were leaving the yard. I hate 'em allhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif . Go anybody but them!
  14. Does Conti get 1/2 of that save?
  15. Too many men LOB through 3 innings. Let's hope they don't come back to haunt.
  16. Tonight looks good on so many fronts: - Beating up a wild card contender (2 in a row) - Beating up a lefty - Not being the team getting whooped 10-0 sure feels nice for a change. - Winning at homehttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  17. I don't see any reason Ginter shouldn't play the rest of the year. Hopefully, he'll be a starter next year. Well, there is one thing that will prevent him from playing everyday....logic.
  18. What are the group thoughts on start #1 for Davis? He didn't get a decision but he kept us in position to win the game. He left with the lead, right?
  19. There's no one around today. I think everyone's in Beloit for the Nelson bobblehead. If I recall, there was discussion elsewhere about going. I think it was today....Hope so, because the Brewers haven't been worth staying home for this afternoon.
  20. Hey, what's everybody doing checking out his fly??http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  21. Here we go--Ginter in starting lineup at 3B...
  22. Lost in all of this is another quality start by Franklin and a great job by the bullpen.
  23. How about that Brewers bullpen today? Looking over the box score on CBS Sportsline, it shows that Viz, Estrella, and DeJean threw a total of 18 pitches to get 8 outs. That is flat out efficient and impressive. That's the way a pen gets it done.
