    Sucks to be a rookie because you don't get a lot of calls. Ben should've gotten that called 3rd. Beautiful pitch. Now, he's got work to do.

    Seasons go bad with games like this. The boys need to rebound with Ace pitching tomorrow. I posted an almost identical message in my fantasy league right after the game. Tomorrow is huge. This was the 1st game of 9 on the West coast and we can't afford to drop another one tomorrrow and see this steamroll into a losing streak. This year's team has shown us so many things including the ability to bounce back and that quality must emerge tomorrow....

    The second game of the double-header is scheduled to start at 9:15 p.m. CDT. But ? it started to rain between games and the tarp is on the field. Stay tuned. The ol' Doppler is looking pretty colorful for this part of the state the rest of the night. We'll see if they even try to get this one in. EDIT: Ooh, a tie on the post with MassBrew. I figured it would be postponed..I've got thunder and lightning brewing as we speak. The entire southern part of Wisc. is gonna be swimming after these last 2 days. Get this front outta here already.

    C'mon Ginter, this is your big shot. At least 1 month of starting time at 3B--be the man. I've got sooooooo many friends who do not like Ginter and want to show me I'm wrong for advocating him. The worst part is he seems to hit the ball on a line almost every time but all these friends see is the 1-4 in the box score.     The good thing is it's artificial turf, so hte field would be much more "playable" after the rains. Is P.R. like Miami in that they get the nightly early evening rains?

    I think the Daily Brew started listing divisional matchups recently (today?), so I know there is some interest in what's going on out there.

    Thanks for your support David (geez, I sound like Bartles and Jaymes). Maybe this is something we can do and you know, pin it nightly like we do the Brewers thread. I know more people than myself want to discuss what's going on, right? Not being in control of this board, I don't know if this is difficult or not. Could this just be done like the daily Brewer game thread and then "let go" the next day?

    How does everyone feel about this? For instance, tonight we've got our Brewers thread and meanwhile Randy Johnson is perfect thru 8. I wanted to get some interaction on this so I had to crash the in-game Brewer thread. If we did a MLB nightly thread, we could all discuss anything else going on in the majors without disrupting our Brewer thread. Is this something anybody would contribute to or am I just such a junkie looking for discussion???
