That was a pretty horrible bit in the article. [sarcasm]We forgave Kobe because he won a gold medal. But can we ever forgive Braun? Totally comparable![/sarcasm]

Wow, that really is probably the worst article I've read about Braun. I'll link it, because people are going to hunt for it regardless at this point. But ya, wow. The bit about racism tacked on at the end, really iced it. Full Article Spoiler Warning: Greg Couch is not a happy man.

chadomac, that's a cool use of those streamers! My neighbors went to yesterday's game and told me they would give me one of their DVDs. I hope to check it out soon.

Last summer I tried grilling pizzas (which is really simple and good) and the crowd favorite one, I grilled a bunch of vegetables first, then chopped them up and threw them on a pizza with some fresh mozzarella and basil.

pretendastronaut has Gamel listed as 6th, though. Is that just a typo, or did Roenicke change his mind? No, I had entered that lineup as a guess when I pre-set this up last night. The Cardinals lineup is a guess right now too.

I have to admit, I was always under the assumption that you needed club tickets to go in that door.

Jon Heyman calls it 'one of the nuttiest deals ever'. Link

So I had a mix up with some of my tickets, which I sent back. I got the new tickets in the mail yesterday, along with a little card from my rep apologizing and a gift of some authenticated infield dirt from the NLDS Game 5. It's kind of a strange thing to be excited about some dirt, but it's an interesting keepsake from that night.

I'm sorry, the concern about things becoming to "comic-bookey/cartoony" is just kind of funny to me. I mean, the show started with a guy waking up from a coma to find the world overrun with zombies, who rides a horse into Atlanta, escapes from the massive zombie horde alive while covering himself in zombie parts and in the end, has fatefully joined the same group his family has. Anyway, to address the concerns, without giving anything away, I wouldn't over-read the Michonne introduction. While both Michonne and the Governor are high profile characters, there are also characters that make sense in this new world.

This was in the comments of the JS article. Lots of videos and such. Weird stuff. http://strangesoundsinthesky.com/

That's a good analysis RobertR, spot on. I never watch that Talking Dead show they have on later, but I watched a bit of it randomly last night. They asked about the oddness of Lori's response to Rick killing Shane and the screenwriter said he meant it to be Lori being upset at herself. Right, everybody got that.

I agree fully with PeavyFury, Lori flipping the car was so close to last straw for me, but it was really the last really dumb thing they did all season. The Michonne teaser was perfect and so was the prison. For as much flak as I gave the show, it finished really strong this time.

It'll become less funny eventually, but for now, it's still pretty funny. Elliot Johnson's is spectacular. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IExTQXBOqsE
