Back on topic about Machado, I think 5 games is okay, though I hope he doesn't get anything reduced in his appeal. 20-25 games is obscene for this IMO. He looked ridiculous, pretty much all the media is saying so, and I'm sure the veterans on his team told him so. Give him his suspension and move on. If he does something like that again, then I wouldn't be opposed to something more severe like a 15 game suspension.

The way he stared down the pitcher right before the bat "slip", there's no way I buy that being a coincidence. He's looked quite ridiculous this weekend. I love the umpire and Donaldson in this gif from Friday night's fit: http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--5XZO5Rs2--/c_fit,fl_progressive,q_80,w_636/ausmbf5mpofhsvhrtsuf.gif

I didn't have a good feeling about that inning at all. Good job of Yo getting out of that mess.

Seems like RR has being doing this a lot lately.

Last night was the most I've heard Hamilton call. He has a good voice on the radio in general, and it sounds like Block is more engaged in the booth. It would actually be interesting to hear Uecker and Hamilton do a game together.
