To me, it appeared for awhile before the "incident" that Morgan was getting jawed at, he was looking back in the stands quite a bit. I never got the impression though that they were under his skin and that he wasn't just rolling with it. And I never thought for a second that he flipped off the fans, but that's what the Giants fans seem to believe through and through. Fans seem to give Morgan a lot of crap and he doesn't always drown it out, I'm remembering seeing him jaw with a fan from the on deck circle at Miller Park, I think against the Cubs. However, I haven't seen him lose his temper over it this year at all. I think the whole thing is blown out of proportion, and there are some very not nice things being said on some Giants boards.

That a random stretch of 4 starts isn't predictive? Narveson had an ERA around 2 in his first 4 starts. What does that tell you?

It's cool seeing people starting to fill the stadium more, and all indications so far are that the front office is looking to make moves to try to take advantage of this opportunity. Brewers, Cards, and Reds continue to disappoint on various levels, so why not give it a run if you're them. If we can't take the division, it would be pretty fun to see them take it over anyone else in our division.

Nobody is saying that all 32 road losses are the result of facing a good pitcher who shut us down, some people are saying we did tonight, there's a tremendous difference. The last two games we've faced Collmenter, people in the IGTs have acted like we faced some chump pitcher, when we didn't, outside of a rough stretch in June, he's been fantastic this season. As has been noted, he held us to only 3 hits at Miller Park too, and he had a WHIP of 1.00 entering the game. Yes, the Brewers have well documented road woes this season, but they just won two tough fought games in a row and then came out and lost tonight against a good pitcher, it can happen.

Diamondbacks vs. Wolf Wolf Game Log Josh Collmenter 4-5, 2.92 The right-hander starts his second consecutive game against the Brewers. Two tough won games. Great pitching for Axford today. Control was a little sloppy, mostly Giambi's AB, but he kept them off balance really well.

Personally I wonder if it wasn't something more like that and it's just not getting relied to Telly that way. He kept circling his face and indicating something in his face, not something audible.

Ueck is pretty upset about Wilson getting charged an error on that collision.

That's a nice looking basement.

I'm blown away how many people in the media and on Twitter think K-Rod is the new closer. Yes, K-Rod will likely get a handful of saves, but he's a set-up guy for the rest of this season and it should be fully obvious to everyone.
