    Wow this was even more up and down than usual. You know even great hitters don't always succeec so I'm trying to figure that hatred for Helms and Magruder. One thing I would like to know, does Ned not believe in defensive subs? Because a two run lead in the ninth would be the time to use them for Helms and Weeks.

    The problem isn't Magruder. The problem is that the coaching staff can't realize he doesn't hit left handed.

    Unlike every single other pitcher the Brewers have? The thing everyone is ignoring was when both Overbay and Lee struck out versus Remlinger. That was the best chance the Brewers had to score and the Brewers best two hitters whiffed.

    Magruder career vs RH: .195 .268 .311 .579 Helms last 4 seasons vs RH: .253 .307 .400 .707 Both are ugly but Helms has the clear advantage.

    Given that Magruder has shown no ability to hit left handed, why do coaches continue to allow him to do so? Why do you have Magruder face a righty when with Helms you at least have a chance? Why can't Nedly figure out the DS? You don't have to have you're pitcher face an extra two batter, you can take him out! You don't have to have Santana throw 40 pitches!

    Umps don't see. They watch the foot and listen for the ball hitting the glove. Since light is faster than sound the runner is at a huge advantage!

    There was no cutoff man--Weeks was 5 steps from Magruder and Overbay had his back to the play. Even though Schroeder believes it, there was no cutoff man.
