  1. Would you mind checking LambeauLeap to see if the hearts are displaying for you over there?
  2. I know what you're talking about now, but I don't understand why you're seeing it. Which browser are you using? This is the image that Invader3K is seeing. I "produced" it on a test board. http://images.yuku.com/image/png/90e15d5e455f480b43d910b61be2c7930f52d52.png The feature has been there since Day 1, but we've had it hidden. If we were to make it available, we'd be able to replace the heart.
  3. Where's the heart? I don't see it.
  4. Xmarks | Bookmark Sync and Search Firefox 4 and Google Chrome have built-in bookmarks syncs, but this one-ups them because it syncs across multiple browsers: Firefox, Chrome (and other Chromium-based browsers), IE, Safari (Mac & iOS), and Android.
  5. Yeah, the headline writer goofed. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I'll fix the broken link in the lead.
  6. I would think that the ability to be an effective gorilla would be an asset to any job.
  7. Yeah, there've been changes to the skin intended to clean up code, but not to drastically change the look. I'm glad you brought that up. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif If there's anything else that's off, please let me know. It'll help a lot if you include your browser and version (like chuckiehacks did). The IEs, especially versions 6 & 7, tend to be uncooperative. We definitely want odd/even colors for everyone, though.
  8. Performing as part of a will get you around the range requirements. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  9. The most "correct" version is quite brisk. You hear it when military bands perform it. That doesn't mean that "unique" renditions aren't cool if they're done well and performed under the right circumstances. At games, however, people want to sing along. Often, that's impossible. The pace should remain consistent, and the melody should be predictable. Maybe one time out of ten there can be an exception. I remember a really cool guitar version at a Brewers game, for instance. The problem is that everyone wants to be that exception. If it isn't a sing-along situation, there'd be much more latitude for singers to do what they want. There still needs to be quality, though. Quality was certainly lacking yesterday.
  10. Moved to Off Topic: http://forum.brewerfan.net/viewtopic.php?t=24148
  11. I was wondering, the Brewers are the only team (well I think!) to have switch league in the history. The Brewers were the first and only team to switch leagues since the American League was established. Another way to look at it is that the Brewers were the first and only team to switch leagues since the start of the 20th century. Teams had switched leagues in the 1800s. Critics felt that he sweethearted the Brewers into the N.L. to capitalize on the potential rivalry with the Cubs, stir fan interest, etc. I don't know if people actually criticized him or if Bud was trying to avoid criticism. I know he was concerned about how it would look if the Brewers were the first or only choice, though. In hindsight, why didn't MLB just add both the Rays & Dbacks to the NL? The National League had just expanded in 1993. Both teams could have been added to the American League to avoid that issue, though. I remember hearing that the Diamondbacks' owner was adamant about joining the NL for whatever reasons. Yeah, Arizona ownership was quite insistent that they had a National League fanbase. They were so insistent that their fans believed them. During their debut season, attendance went down during interleague play. There was a paranoia that existed for the first few years of the D'Backs existence. There was a window of several years where the two new expansion teams could be realigned without any say in the matter.
  12. Anything by George Orwell or Evelyn Waugh. I think it's important to remember that the boy is eight. An advanced reading level doesn't necessarily mean that he's ready to understand or appreciate content that's advanced for his age. Along with that, there's a lot of "advanced" content that his parents might not appreciate him reading until he's a teenager. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Maybe he'd like to try the Narnia books.
  13. If this can be confirmed from a second source, we should probably give this a new topic.
  14. Finished third. Here are the winners: http://www.refresheverything.com/finalists
  15. It says that voting has ended. But I'm not finding a result. When I checked an hour or so ago, the Treyton Kilar project was still second.
  16. It says that voting closes at midnight. It doesn't give a time zone.
  17. Tomorrow's the day the voting ends. Has anyone been able to figure out what time?
  18. I can't really add anything to this except to check out the different browsers that are available. Opera Mini seems to get good reviews, so that might be your best option right now.
  19. Unfortunately, there isn't anything I can report regarding this bug. For a while, Yuku was addressing issues based on votes at support.yuku.com. A few features and bug fixes were actually implemented based on that system, but as TooLiveBrew says, Yuku has taken down its support board. We're now supposed to file tickets at help.yuku.com. (There's a link to it at the bottom of every page.) It's all individual one-on-one help. A ticket system was always in place, and it's good for certain kinds of issues, especially when private information needs to be exchanged. However, seeking help via ticket only makes it harder to keep abreast of Yuku issues, and it's harder for Brewerfan staff to seek help on behalf of members. Additionally, the lack of a board makes it very easy for staff to brush us off and tell is that a problem isn't really a problem. An example of this was when chat was broken for several weeks last winter. Staff kept telling us, "Chat's not broken; it's just different." To update on Yuku, the company has been sold to Inform Technologies. Before the sale, five of the six customer support staff members were let go. After the sale, support.yuku.com was taken down. My theory is that without an official support board, it's easier for Yuku personnel to tell ownership that the customer base is happy. Back to the bug, maybe we should all be filing help tickets. Thoughts?
  20. This is likely part of the "blank last page" bug. I owe everyone an update in the other topic. Unfortunately, it won't say much. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif I'll take a look, though. Do you remember which reply you were trying to access?
  21. My opinion is that Olson's material improved noticeably when he moved to onmilwaukee.com. Drew couldn't have suddenly gotten better on his own. It appears to me that he was constrained to doing things a certain way when he was with the Journal-Sentinel. Witrado, on the other hand, is likely to be poor wherever he goes. A careful and aggressive copyreader could reduce issues caused by his vocabulary and grammar skills, but that's not going to improve the quality of his content.
  22. I think a relish tray should have been considered. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  23. The gaps are filled in the renderings in the lead post. I'd assume that the stuff filling the gaps is trim and not structural, and like a building, trim would be installed near the end of the process.
  24. We've had to dial 10 digits for local landline calls for several months, and I still haven't updated the numbers stored in my phones to reflect the change.
