Has Weeks started his last game as a Brewer?
1992casey replied to bklynbrewcrew's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
The lead post is a vent and focuses on one game. There's condescension among the responses. Let's quit while we're kinda ahead. -
If your cursor happens to make its way into hovering over the MBA icon, you'll see a tooltip that says, "This forum is set to "membership by approval" and is closed to non-members." http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif All logged in Brewerfan members are able to view the Trading Post. As Jamie says, one must be a Brewerfan member for a month to be able to post there. Those who were members for less than a month when the change in access was deployed have "grandfathered" posting access.

I am assuming that Dale Sveum will be the Brewers Head Coach in 2009. The last time a Major League baseball team employed a head coach was 1965, and in that case, it was a leftover from a system that didn't work well at all. I hope the Brewers stick with tradition and employ a field manager. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Let's use the Trading Post forum for any further ticket exchanges. Requests to buy and offers to sell in this thread have been moved here: Parking for Saturday.

Didn't see a thread about this and didnt know where else to post this but I just heard on ESPN that Burrell left their workout today with lower back soreness. There's a brief mention of this earlier in this thread, plus there's a Burrell injury thread (currently without responses) in the Major League forum. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

For reference, take a look at this thread in the Major League forum: Game 3 Parking

The ghost of Harvey Kuehn If you want to go the historical route, Audrey Kuenn would be a great choice. -

I'm seeing all of the pictures now, but when I first opened the thread, I only saw three. As I went to edit the post to look for URL errors, they magically appeared. Are you still having issues? -
madgrad, you should have both reading and posting access. As ewizabeff says, you have to be logged in to see it.

Why all the hate for small ball?
1992casey replied to brewcrewkid14's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Linky no worky logan3825's link works now; it goes to the same place as TooLive's one reply above. Somehow, logan3825 didn't paste in any destination. All that was there was http://. -
Vs. lefties, Billy's hit .312/.377/.532 (.909 OPS) this year. This is very much in line with his larger sample splits. I'm glad Dale recognizes this.

He isn't on the banned list. I believe he just quietly disappeared.

Gotta say that the lead poster of the thread linked to by Diskono is the only Brewerfan member to have a whole forum named after his "work."

Unless parking passes are printable online, I wouldn't bet on having one mailed in time. My guess is that the conflicting information means that the team will sell parking passes on game day if there are spots to be had, but that one shouldn't bet on it. I wonder if those who depend on handicapped parking need to make any special plans.

I don't know how viable these options are for you, but I'll toss them out there anyway. 1. I couldn't tell you if this is typical of Amish communities statewide, but where I live in north central Wisconsin, there are several Amish families who do work like this. 2. During these exciting times, please take special note of the following Trading Post rule: EDIT Note that it's fair to consider processing fees as part of face value.

Moved to Off Topic with a change of thread title. I think it's more likely to be seen that way.

Anyone else feel a bit bad for Ned?
1992casey replied to danzig6767's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I feel bad for Nedly, and I think he's entitled to all due respect. He's done a lot for the Brewers over the years, and I think it's apparent that he gave his heart and soul to the team. While I think Sveum stands a better chance of making the right in-game moves, that's not a reason not to feel bad for Yost on a more personal level. -
I think we should start a donation thread to pay for CC to keep him in Milwaukee. About $27 per Wisconsin resident ought to do it. Check out this thread for PTBNL discussion: Who will Cleveland pick? Latest -- It's Brantley (reply #145ish)

Yeah, all the awards are based on the regular season.
