Or one manager, you have to put your players in positions to suceed.

Good start, way to stand on the plate jenks! Wow JJ, better then a DP I guess. Yes the pirates are double switching! Morons, now prince can bat.

This is ned's loss and i hope he admits it. If i were melvin i would fire him today.
  4. Sheets4theHOF
If we get Bay, walk Ward, its a no brainer. So in that case i'm sure yost will pitch to him. EDIT: Will nevermind, tie game. Thanks for 6 solid innings of work DD! And offense thanks for 8 runs, oh could we have a couple more please. I'm just sickend.

This has to be the worst bullpen management i've seen in years. Why was phelps left in with his 4 something era? Santana and Wise are the set up men right? Just stupid stupid stupid.
  6. Sheets4theHOF
Phelps? Santana anyone? EDIT: And a walk and a single. You suck yost just suck.
  7. Sheets4theHOF
Thank god. Looks like Bay's catch was a lot bigger then it seemed at the time.

its amazing how ned can mess up a blowout win. 100% ned's fault. A manager is supposed to put his players in a position to suceed. Davis had nothing left, Botallico was put in against Bay at 2-0 count with a man on, then was left out there after clearly not having it today either.
  9. Sheets4theHOF
Why in the hell was davis pitching to anyone else after that leadoff homer? God just stupid. Nothing can be easy. Pull @$#%@# Botallico.
  10. Sheets4theHOF
I am so pissed right now. This inning should have started with JDLR. Not only is it a game now, but you wreck a good outing for davis.
  11. Sheets4theHOF
And now we have a ball game. Way to go Ned!
  12. Sheets4theHOF
Time to pull dougie. Who's this latino left hander we have? Jose De La Rosa? Has he ever pitched for us?

Bay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, when to end the party. No doubt that rickie was going deep next AB if he doesn't catch that http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I don't know how many times I've seen a runner at third assume a ball like that would drop and be troting toward the plate and not get back soon enough to tag up. JJ and then CHAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you're going good you;re good. Then DD!!!!!!!!!!!! The vaunted brewer offense strikes again.

Smart base running by Overbay. That's two great catches by Tike today.
  16. Sheets4theHOF
Another case of steriods for sure. Boone got really big really quick. I always found his bat flip annoying too.
  17. Sheets4theHOF
E4 for spivey, but hey he's styling with those shades. Actually the offical scorer will probably give the cubbies a hit, but it was a play that shoud have been made.

My roomate had mlb tv for awhile which allowed me to see a lot of different telecast and annoucers and i can say sutton and schroeder aren't that bad. They have fun and give a lot of duh info but they do a good job compared to others. Jenks says, "No soup for freddy sanchez!" I just saw a comerical with victor santos and I couldn't stop laughing. He;s just got weird eyes, he looks like a pot head.
  19. Sheets4theHOF
Line drive that just snuck over the wall. Out in a hurry though.
  20. Sheets4theHOF
Aw the pirates are playing the game under protest. Is something bothering them? Is losing hard on them? Grow up McCelldon. ---the last game i remember being played under protest was the infamous baseball give away opening day at county stadium. Texas didn't like baseball thrown at them all game, atleast that was legit.
  21. Sheets4theHOF
OH RICKIE YOURE SO FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNREAL!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Sheets4theHOF
Horrible camera work by telemundo. Both JJ and DD double in the same inning. What are the chances of that happening again?
  23. Sheets4theHOF
That's the best swing i've seen from JJ in a long time. Way to get it started.
  24. Sheets4theHOF
HA! Uek just said Kenny Rodgers has asked that no tv cameras be used in the game he's pitching today. Classic.
  25. Sheets4theHOF
DD clearly had control trouble in the first, so what do you do if you're the first two pirate hitters in the second? Swing at the first pitch of course! No wonder the pirates are so bad.
