  1. It will be scary to face him when he is. He's been lights out so far.
  2. I dunno, he seems (again i'm not watching the game) to be pitching way too well to be hurt. 5 K's and one hit through four.
  3. Is it really that noticable? I can't get to a tv and mlb tv won't show me the game. Powell and Ueck haven't said a word about it. He's still huffing if up there in the mid 90's.
  4. I didn't like that call at all. Why not bunt miller and jj over and let a real hitter have a chance at 2 rbis. That was just stupid.
  5. see what happens when you throw strikes chris? He seemed afraid to challenge the cubs meat of the order.
  6. according to mlb gamecast russell missed what would have been ball 4.
  7. final two outs on two pitches. Way to go doug.
  8. Well between russ and jeff wes may want to accept an assignment to Nashville if he wants some ABs.
  9. mlb's gamecast does give the distance but junior's dot is farther back then lee's. I don't think it was a big bomb.
  10. I'm very thankful the pirates lineup is so bad or davis probably would be in trouble by now. Hopefully Davis can settle down and get a couple more innings.

  12. how did we add the 3 runs? how did the M's score in the bottom of the 7th?
  13. Well hopefully not second, we do have that guy weeks who looks like he can play ok.
  14. good question. Or can the pitcher become the dh?
  15. If he starts hitting absolutely. I remember his rule 5 year he was very solid defensively.
  16. What inning are we in? Still 5-4 correct?
  17. It would be good to see JDLR earn his spot in the bullpen instead of simply being given it because he's out of options. Encouraging stuff.
  18. Anybody know which pitchers gave up the runs? Thanks in advance.
  19. A lot of it depends on how jenks performs this season. His contract will be harder to move the overbay and thereby we would get more for doubledown. Either way the future is bright.
  20. 4-0 and carlos lee is the man. I tell ya next year 1-5 next year is gonna be fun to watch... Krynzel Weeks Fielder Lee Jenkins If Overbay improves over next year we can get another solid pitcher for him....I'm excited. I can't wait for opening day. Sheets vs. Perez. Go Crew!
  21. Very nice win. Sure they don't count for anything, but its better then losing. Best of all it was great to hear baseball on the radio again.
  22. Nice to see the top two prospects--Fielder and Weeks--have big games. Capallen pitched a lot better then Meyer. Of course that hardly proves which one is better but hey I'll take it. Lee, Jenkins, Krynzel, and Branyan all playing well is great. The one disapointment is Hendrickson not pitching well. Hopefully he turns things around and earns a spot in the rotation. I couldn't imagine sending him back down to AAA.
  23. Nice approach by Chad. Getting into the bullpen early in this series would be huge.
  24. first of all, yes bob brainard is awful. That man shouldn't have a job. Next Kolb. He's not elite but he gets the job done. Strike outs or not, as long as he only blows a save once and awhile i'm happy. Finally how about this offense's turn around? With Sheets on the bump tomorrow a sweep is looking good. (knock on wood).
