  1. After retiring this year Damian has been able to spend more time in his hometown of West Salem, WI. I play high school baseball there and have to say that he is a great man to be around. He has come to our practices and games and has helped us out a lot through out this season. He talked about catching the big unit, and how amazing of a pitcher he was. He also gave us insight on the Brewers coaches and other organizations players and coaches. It has been a real treat for me and the community. Don't know what discussion can go on from here, but I just wanted everyone to know how great of a man and player Damian really is.

  3. Got to see him in spring training, and his defense during the game I saw was amazing. He made a play that J.J. wouldn't have even been able to touch, but his 13 errors (I think) this year kind of worries me to how consistent he is. He is batting amazing this year and I hope that can translate into the majors soon.
  4. Yeah you have been making some great bets. Keep up the good work.
  5. Have you made a bet for ten cents already? Because if you have you have to wait until the bet has been finished, then it should be on the middle of your home screen.
  6. So I have heard about this through many friends and ever since I have gotten involved with it I have enjoyed it. The site below is a gambling site that allows you to gamble for free. They pay for your money by having adds placed on there website. I know it sounds like a bunch of bull, but it is legit. I know people that have received money from them. http://www.centsports.com/?opcode=149247 Sorry if this seems like an advertisement, but I just wanted to spread the word about the great site. I also receive 10 percent of whatever you make, but it doesn't come out of your money. The more friends that you invite after getting involved the more money you can earn from them. So thank you and have fun. Any questions and I will gladly try to answer.
  7. How are they going to send down Stetter if he keeps pitching like this.
  8. I personally like Turnblow.
  9. Yeah but you also have to look at Tony Gwynns defense compared to Bill Halls, not much of a matchup there.
  10. Im going to my first spring training game today and couldn't not find when the gates opened. Can someone please help me. Thanks in advance.
  11. Im going to be heading down to Arizona and wanted to know what time that the Brewers practiced at. Thanks for all the help.
  12. So does anyone know if the brewers are on DirecTV in WI?
  13. You want to limit a young pitchers innings, there has been many cases, like Wood and Prior, who were overworked at a young age, that it can effect the outcome of the career. So they try to gradually get them pitching more and more innings each year so they become more used to pitched a large amount.
  14. What about Felix Hernandez? He is very young, and currently has a 3.86 ERA. Do you think the Mariners would have to add more? Because he as well is young and going to be great.
  15. I'm not saying that it is over, i am just recently we are playing very bad baseball, and that play that allowed the batter to score on a routine groundball, cannot happen. The annoucers even said that was very unlikely to see in the Little League World Series! We just need to pick it up a little and we will be fine, getting Sheets back soon will be a major boost.
  16. I think that play was just showing how rock bottom we actually are. A routine ground ball to Braun turns into the batter, Griffey, scoring. This is absolutely pathetic to watch.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/mad.gif
  17. What about autobiographys? i really enjoy reading them.
  18. So I was looking in a book store yesterday and was trying to look for a good baseball book, so does anyone have any suggestions on good baseball books? And another question, what books has Bob Uecker written? Thanks for the help. (added tag --1992)
  19. I was looking at Ryan Braun's stats for the year because i wanted to know how he started off the first 10 games or so, but then i saw that his OBP in May was lower than his BA, how is this possible? Here is the link to his stat page http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/individual_player_gamebygamelog.jsp?playerID=460075&statType=1 EDIT: Please use more descriptive subject lines - Brian
  20. I think we have to do three things... 1. Resign Linebrink or Cordero, or trade for a solid veteran reliever or closer. 2. Get a LF who is righthanded that can bat in the five hole, wether that be in a trade or in Free Agency. 3. Get Weeks healthy so he can have a monster year.
  21. Thanks i dont know why it was acting weird.
  22. Is milwaukeebrewers.com not working for anyone else, i get some padres moblie website thing, is there anyway around this?
  23. I think we should keep him as a left handed power bat off the bench.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  24. I think the biggest need is going to be relief pitching. We have a few guys who are going to be free agents, CoCo and Linebrink, and it would be nice to sign one of them and pick up another solid bullpen guy. I also would rather have Parra in the starting rotation than Villanueva because taking Villanueva out of the pen could hurt our bullpen alot.
  25. If they are trying to keep Gallardo's innings down, do you think they would think about putting Para in for a couple of his starts?
