  1. Does JJ start warming up if anyone reaches in Knebel? Unless we score a bunch here...
  2. He put the ball in play. That would have been a k for him or anyone else in the 10 seasons before this year. They might have done well in that situation in 2011, or the first half of numerous other seasons.
  3. We could have a sizable lead in this game if we could get a hit with RISP. Good thing the Cardinals are trying to give this game to us. Let’s take it.
  4. I hate the contact play with the runner on third. We always hit right to the shortstop.
  5. I have a feeling we need more than one run here. Let’s get some insurance!
  6. Walks, wild pitches, and errors are how we score most of our non-HR runs.
  7. Top spin liner that he had to leap to get a glove on? Yea, that’s a hit. Did he actually have to jump though? I'll give you the top spin part of it, but I disagree that it's a hit. The Cardinals were batting, therefore it’s a hit.
  8. Hope that doesn’t come back to bite us. Misplays like that often seem to do so.
  9. Not sure if you are referring to me, but it really do any matter. I’ll stand by my comment that the Brewers didn’t play as well as the Cubs did when it was only a one-game difference. Not winning that one series against the Pirates put us in a position where winning the division wasn’t realistically possible. The Brewers have had a great season, and have been really great during this stretch, but they didn’t do enough to overtake the Cubs. Unless a miracle happens and somehow the Brewers wn the division, they didn’t play good enough. That being said I’m very excited for the likelihood of the Wild Card game. I will be extremely nervous as who knows if the offense will show up or not. This team is good enough to win it all, but could easily lose the Wild Card, so not taking advantage of opportunities earlier and winning the division is unfortunate.
  10. Now that Yelich is on, we’ll hit a 2-run HR here.
  11. This is why it was so disappointing that the Brewers couldn’t take advantage of building on their first half lead. Whenever I mentioned this online I got chastised about why I can’t be happy with where the Brewers were at as they were leading the division for most of the first half. Now we are holding on to the last glimmer of hope that they can somehow win the division. We’ll most likely be headed to the Wild Card game, where it’s a roll of the dice which Brewers offense shows up. I hope it’s the good offense and not the one that gets shut out or only scores one run. When this team is hot they can beat anybody, so they could pull this off and win the entire thing. It’s not likely, but I do believe they could do it. It’d be a shame if they don’t get the chance because their bad offense shows up for the one Wild Card game. I think this team will be good for a few years, but you never know if this will be our best chance.
  12. Guaranteed the Brewers will get two runs now in the 9th.
  13. I think the digital-only delivery is MLB’s attempt to slow down selling tickets. It sounds like you don’t get the actual barcode for your seat until game day, so I don’t think you can sell online until then.
  14. Anyone here a 10 pack ticketholder? I received the following from my account rep on 9/14 but never received the email on 9/20. I don't know if there's a special URL or it's just the regular My Brewers Tickets site. Please see below for your 10 Pack Postseason Opportunity Information: • Thursday, Sept 20th – Email sent to 10-Pack Holders regarding their WC/NLDS Postseason Ticket Opportunity on Sept 25th. • Tuesday, Sept 25th – Another email will be sent in the morning as a reminder of the presale which will begin at 10am. • Tickets will be sold online ONLY and digital delivery will be the ONLY option. • There will be another sale for 10 pack customers to purchase NLCS tickets at a later date. I tried contacting my rep today and got his out of office message, although he did send out the following. I still don't know if there's a special URL or not. As the 2018 Postseason draws near, here are few things to keep in mind in regards to online presales and digital ticketing: • To access the Postseason sales next week you MUST have your account number. The tickets will be sold online only and digital delivery will be the only option. You will be able to see your ticket locations right away upon purchase, but barcodes will not appear in the app or be available in My Brewers Tickets for printing until game day. • Forwarding of any individual postseason tickets will also be delayed until after the final Regular Season home game and we are confirmed to play a game. • When accessing your My Brewers Tickets account, a desktop or laptop computer works best. If you have to use a phone or tablet make sure to click the link at the bottom of the screen that says ‘My Brewers Tickets Desktop’ prior to logging in. • When you login to your My Brewers Tickets account you MUST use your account number as the login ID. Your email address will NOT work. • Your My Brewers Tickets account MUST be linked to MLB.com in order to have access to the tickets. When linking the account the ‘Nickname’ can be anything. • To use your digital tickets you can either have them scanned on your smartphone via the MLB Ballpark App, or print off paper copies from your My Brewers Tickets account. Did anyone receive anything different? I would have expected a professional looking email with details instead of just some details in the weekly Brewers Bits email my rep sends.
