  1. Rodgers didn't see Rapp so he probably didn't think there was a reason for Lazard to slow down. oh well.
  2. Kenny Clark ain't messing around
  3. Rumor going around that Jalen Hurts broke his collar bone and is out for the year. No confirmation yet. Edit: agent squashes that rumor
  4. We moved our flight out of town up a day to try and avoid it.
  5. I am looking forward to seeing Doubs and Watson on the field at the same time.
  6. That is not a lot of money but apparently he turned down a decent sized deal with the Marlins because he thought they weren't committed to winning. Which is weird if true because the Red Sox haven't seemed too committed to winning the last two or three off seasons.
  7. have you looked at Mint?
  8. What I learned from that game is the Vikings are overrated and Jeff Saturday is a bad coach.
  9. add INT for TD SKOLOLOLOLOL
  10. nice first half, Minny: blocked punt for a TD, fumble, failed 4th down conversion, failed fake punt
  11. Yeah there is a whole community of people that take advantage of credit card deals. Some people get 10, 20, 30 cards and just rotate them based on whatever deal is best. You need a spreadsheet or two to track everything. I think someone on here was into that a few years ago. A friend of a friend does this and essentially gets his overseas vacations paid for every year. When we got married, we got a Sapphire card which gives you 50,000 bonus points if you put something like $10,000 on there in the first 6 months which, when paying for a wedding, is easy to do.
  12. Even better if you get a card that pays cash back or rewards. We have a travel card that we use for expenses and pay off in full every month. Eventually we will be able to take a really nice vacation with the points.
  13. Also, Claypool was ruled out as well so maybe even better for Herbert. Andrews vs Engram is another tough one. Cleveland and Dallas have been really good against TEs from a fantasy perspective - almost equally good. I think you bet on talent and go with Andrews. He's had a number of games with Huntley at QB and some of them have been huge: https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/mark-andrews-stats-by-game-with-tyler-huntley-starting Engram is boom or bust. He has a really good role but the Dallas D is pretty darn good. Odds are just as good he gets you like 4 points.
  14. maybe someone has covered this but good overview of Rodgers contract and cap situation: This is from OverTheCap's Jason Fitzgerald: "Rodgers does not have a no trade clause in his contract so he could be traded to a team as well. The timing of the option should give the Packers all the way until the end of training camp to move him. The cap charge here would depend on when he was traded. If Rodgers were to be traded prior to June 1st the Packers would take on a $40.3M cap hit in 2023. If he was traded after June 1st it would be a $15.8M cap hit in 2023 with $24.5M due in 2024. This assumes that the Packers did not exercise the option before the trade. If the option is exercised then the trade number spikes to nearly $100 million. There should be no need to exercise the option until the last possible day."
  15. They bumped it to 4%
  16. Tough call, but I think I'd go Herbert. My armchair analysis: Chargers are playing TN. Tennessee has a really good run D and a not so good pass D. Total for that game is 46.5 and it's in a dome. I think Herbert is finally healthy after that rib injury and he will have all his weapons. Bears are playing in Chicago against the Eagles. Weather is gonna be mid 20s. Eagles are favored by 9 in a game with a 48.5 total (so Bears are implied for about 20 points total). If Fields has a great game, he's gonna have to get there by running in a TD or two. Eagles D is pretty good. I subscribe to some projection sites and the one I trust most has Herbert at about 23.5 points and Fields at 21.5
  17. I think I read that Chicagoans pay about a dollar in taxes and fees per gallon of gas. I would wager that is most of the difference. You go out to Brookfield, IL and gas is like $3.30
  18. Everything I've read says the draw down had a pretty small impact on gas prices. On the order of 20 - 30 cents. I think most people knew once a few refineries came back online and demand wavered a bit as summer ended it was going to drop so they did a thing that made it seem like "hey we're doing something".
  19. wow, gas prices really tumbled the last few weeks. I've seen $2.59 here in Milwaukee.
  20. QB recruiting aside, UW had one of their best recruiting classes ever in 2021. 247 had them as 16th in the country.
