  1. You could literally play action in an empty backfield and a college linebacker is gonna freeze 9 times out of 10. It's the action not the personnel.
  2. I watched a Russell Wilson highlight tape and two things stood out 1) a LOT of play-action and bootleg and 2) our offensive line was bad at pass blocking - Wilson was just amazing
  3. Motion, shifts, play-action will all help make the offensive line look better and probably help receivers get open as well. Not looking for Air Raid or anything like that....just a little more misdirection to confuse and/or slow down the defense a step. I swear they've gone backwards in this regard. It was never a staple of the offense but it seems like they would fake the jet sweep way more often just a year or two ago.
  4. They did have Michael Thomas those four games I believe.

  7. I count 7? Urias and Woodruff being the righties. Or is Woody a lefty? Edit: yes he is. Was confusing him with Burnes...and so is Roto Wire https://www.rotowire.com/baseball/daily-lineups.php
  8. I stick to the newspaper.
  9. Coan was good with the Badgers. 2019 he had 2700+ yards 18 TDs and 5 INTs.
  10. That staff was just a lot of just below average pitchers, and Pete Vukovich, and a really good closer. Pete Vukovich won the Cy Young with a 1.5 WHIP, lololol! I heard a story from some old Brewer, might have been Gorman, that Vuckovich would purposefully walk the bases loaded just to get to a guy he knew he could get out. Considering he had 102 BBs his Cy Young year I don't doubt that story for a second.
  11. Head to Head is annoying. I was 13 - 1 and led the league in points by a mile last year and lost in the championship game to the lowest seeded dude .
  12. What's weird is the NL winner the last 10 years or so certainly looks like big market bias other than last year. AL is totally different with Cleveland and Tampa Bay winning 5 of ten years. AL hasn't had a repeat winner since Pedro Martinez....NL has had three repeaters in the last decade. http://m.mlb.com/awards/history-winners/?award_id=NLCY
  13. Hopefully he didn't stroke out. That got my heart going. Uecker's call.
  14. +1 my wife and I are really enjoying this
  15. Box: Wisconsin 4, Beloit 1 T-Rats jump out to an early lead and hang on. Solo shots from Valerio and Warren would be all they need as four pitchers combine for 12 K's and 1 earned run.
  16. The passing offense reminds me of late McCarthy era in GB except UW doesn't have Aaron Rodgers to bail them out.
  17. When the Defense can pretty much t off on your offense because there is no misdirection, no motion, and no really anything creative it means you have to win every single play in the trenches. That's a near impossible task against a really good team. These games are often won on the margins and that's where Chryst falls short. Yeah they had two fumbles inside the 5 but I'm not convinced those both turn into TDs. And PSU missed a chip shot FG and an extra point.
