I'm long, long on crypto. I'm treating it like gold in that it will never be more than 3% of my total portfolio. I dollar cost average due to the massive volatility and only invest the bigger coins - the vast majority in ETH which I think has real-world utility even if the "currency" side of things never takes hold (which I have major doubts it ever will).

Just getting 7 innings out of Lauer is a win of sorts

I know there was a serious cap crunch and all, but I just can't believe that the plan for 2021 is Lancaster/Lowry at DE again. I just can't. I am hopeful they are both last on the depth chart at their respective positions. If Lancaster gets more than 3 snaps a game on defense I will not be a happy camper.

Box: Carolina 10, Delmarva 8 Mudcats were down 4 - 1 doing into the bottom of the 4th inning but rallied for 3 to tie it up and eventually win with a big 5 run 6th. Catcher Darrien Miller parked not 1, not 2, but 3 home runs and plated 8 RBIs. Quite a night for the 20-year-old. Video: All three of Darrien Miller's home runs

Gausman’s biggest problems came in his first couple of starts after the ASB but he’s been better in his 5 August starts (ERA 3.16, WHIP 1.29) He hasn’t been as dominant or been working as deep into games as he was earlier in the year. two starts ago he couldn't get past the 4th inning

Way more Packer fans than Saints fans in Jacksonville I'd imagine.

The coach of Bishop Sycamore has been fired. Which begs the question; who fired him?

According to Crawford, he was attacked in his dorm room by Antwan Roberts, another frosh RB that's been suspended indefinitely, and used the knife to defend himself. I am curious what led Roberts to do this if that is, indeed, what happened. https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/college/uw/2021/08/31/wisconsin-football-dismisses-tailback-loyal-crawford-suspends-another/5671805001/

I read somewhere that the Coens had Sam Elliot do one particular line like 13 times. After take 13 he asked them if there was something he could do differently. They said no. They got it on take two but just liked hearing him deliver the dialog.

Bojoroquez was pretty darn good for Buffalo. Not sure why they cut ties:

Ughh. So in addition to the 5th rounder they spent on JK, they have to give the Rams something? All for a job Justin Vogel did just fine. The 5th rounder is a sunk cost. They had to do something. It was a bad pick but keeping him on the team would have compounded the error.

Packers traded for a punter. Later JK. With that leg swing, it was always gonna be tough to be consistent. And if you look at this thread, the ESPN LA Rams writer thought this dude beat out Hekker straight up: Kid has a leg and a half. Looks like Packers also get a 7th round pick. Trading a 6th round pick.
