  1. How about top 5. I hated the Corey Ray pick. How's that turning out? About the same as it's turning out for Jason Groome or almost anyone else drafted in the 1st round that year outside of Kiriloff, Lux, or Kyle Lewis
  2. Didn’t you say 45 minutes ago you didn’t want McLain? I thought it was Montgomery or bust… did the three clips MLB Network showed of McLain sway you? Montgomery was who I wanted but McClain looks solid as well. Hoglund is another I would have been happy with. For the record I didn't want Watson either. OK we'll come back in 2025 and see how you did
  3. I shudder every time there's a switch and Giannis ends up on Paul out on the three point line. That means some guard is probably on Ayton
  4. If you can play SS, you can most likely play 3rd (or OF). And if you can play CF, you can play LF or RF
  5. I can't imagine ever getting upset about a baseball draft pick unless it's in the top three
  6. Well Brewers like their up the middle athletes
  7. Really nice to see "Baby Brewer" box scores again.
  8. Yeah he would be the better option scoring wise over Connaughton, Forbes or Teague. Donte would have been nice to have in the Finals especially with Middleton and Jrue shooting horribly. I think he's more important on defense against Booker and/or Paul
  9. you can't win in six if you don't lose two
  10. He did. I forget his username (I'd know it if I saw it) but he hasn't posted in quite a while.
  11. One of the interesting things for me to do is try to figure out what they see in a guy when they trade for him. So for Adames maybe they looked at his home/road splits. With Tellez, I think you hit it on the stat cast stuff. He does hit into a shift a lot so it's possible he never gets close to his xBA or xSLG but he hits the ball very hard. Maybe his luck just needs to turn a bit.
  12. Was just looking at his career. Was it derailed by injuries? He always had good numbers, but was out of affiliated ball for years https://www.brewcrewball.com/2021/5/6/22421966/milwaukee-brewers-sign-wade-leblanc-logan-forsythe-christian-kelley-andy-otero https://www.diaadia.com.pa/deportes/andy-otero-y-carlos-luna-lucen-bien-en-las-menores-734887
  13. I think Haudricourt made mention of this as a possibility yesterday before it was announced. Although I think he surmised that it might be to start the 2nd game of the double header:
  14. So what you're saying is the Bucks are better with Giannis. Sure….. funny. Didn’t expect to lose by 11 and have plus numbers when 34 was on the floor. It usually isn’t this drastic. So double digit negative without Giannis for 13 minutes. I didn't mean to imply anything about your post. There is this weird "Bucks are better without Giannis" myth out there because of the Hawks series.
  15. So what you're saying is the Bucks are better with Giannis.
  16. I do it every time the opposing team does it, because, tradition. And it makes my son shake his head. Yeah I think it's just a funny trope at this point.
  17. I thought the free-throw disparity was a joke.
