UW just got a commitment from Curtis Neal, DL. Had some big time offers (Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami (FL), Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M,). Had his official at Ohio St after he visited UW and still chose Bucky.
True. That'd be a waste of a resource though. If he is gonna sit out this year, then they need to trade him. That has always been the tipping point for me. Up until now, we know there's some kind of kerfluffle with upper management and that he sat out mini camp but that's about it. I am more than willing to take him back this year if he wants to play. In fact, I really want him to play. But if he wants to sit out the season? Then see ya.
To your point, they are being lumped together which is probably unfair individually. However, some of the comments are selfish and childish, especially for college seniors. Also, Trice is like 30 years old
On this day in 2004, the Rockies beat the Brewers 3 - 2 https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/MIL/MIL200406230.shtml Lyle Overbay with a solo dinger.
Probably some hullabaloo with the "re-opening day" stuff, combined with the Bucks being in the Eastern Conference finals. It’s because of the Reopening Day. The time was set long before anyone knew the Bucks would be playing at home on Friday. Nope. Their Reopening Day is June 28th. https://www.purplerow.com/2021/6/2/22465294/colorado-rockies-pittsburgh-pirates-coors-field-opening-day-again
Rotowire's Expected Lineup: 2B Kolten Wong L 3B Luis Urias R LF C. Yelich L RF A. Garcia R C Omar Narvaez L SS Willy Adames R 1B Keston Hiura R CF T. Taylor R P B. Woodruff R I wonder if they're waiting for Hiura to land before announcing something. Although you'd think he'd be there by now if that was the case.
Depends on the city. https://lasvegassun.com/news/2021/may/23/extended-wait-times-for-uber-lyft-are-raising-conc/ My parents live in a suburb outside Milwaukee. I can always get a car but have to wait 5 - 10 minutes. Last time I was there, Lyft had nothing available unless I went with the SUV so I went with the SUV.
I would like to know how many coaches would actually sit for a two-hour meeting like this. Obviously, we don't know what all went down but I'm gonna give Gard the benefit of the doubt here. He has a really nice recruiting class coming in. If they do well, no one's gonna remember this episode. I think he's got two years to figure it out.
I don't know what to make of this. First off, super shady to record that and then only play the parts you want people to hear. Secondly, that senior class was Charmin soft outside of Davison (dirty play notwithstanding) so it doesn't surprise me, thirdly who cares what Walt McGrory thinks, fourthly no underclassmen left so is it all that bad? fifthly, Sam Dekker and Ben Brust think these guys are morons, sixthly, Gard needs to take some classes in effective communication. FWIW, Jeff Potrykus is suggesting it wasn't a player that recorded and/or released the tape. So that would probably mean Alando Tucker.
Heat season 3P%: .358 Heat playoff 3P%: .336 Nets season 3P%: .392 Nets playoff 3P%: .353 Hawks season 3P%: .373 Hawks playoff 3P%: .346 Bucks three point defense has been fine in the first two rounds, while the Hawks have shot below their season average from three through the first two rounds. Hawks might go off for a game or two, but going off for four would be the flipping the script as its played out so far for sure. Hawks don't really shoot that many threes. 19th in the league in three point attempts per field goal attempt. And their big guys don't shoot any/few so Lopez and Giannis can just park it in the lane. They lead the league in free throw attempts per FGA though. EDIT: I should note that I have no idea how the Hawks trended as the season went on. They might have been last in the league in three point attempts per FGA at one point and then shot up to 19th. I do know they won 35 of their last 50 but I have no idea statistically what changed.
Atlanta gets to the line a lot. The nice thing about this matchup is that the Bucks don't foul much - they are best in the NBA at FT/FGA. And surprisingly the Hawks don't shoot a ton of threes.
Nine walks too, so 11 Ks in 45 PAs is a 24.4 K%. First time around in AAA was 13 Ks in 40 PAs for a 32.5 K%. Small samples abound, but it appears to maybe be progress. Thanks. That context helps. If he can stay under 25% for an extended period I'll believe it's real.
