  1. I'm amazed at shows that can last more than four seasons. Ricky Gervais really knows how to go out on top.
  2. I think it's weird because no other stadium I've been to allows it. I'm sure there are a few though. edit - I guess a lot of baseball stadiums do. Lambeau does not.
  3. I always thought it was weird they allowed carry-ins.
  4. Yeah I think I'd need some more data. Particularly, I'd like to see # fouls called in non-Badger games.
  5. Giannis having a pretty good all star game
  6. I've become less of a CBB fan. Is that a flagrant like an incidental shot to the face is a flagrant in the NBA? If so, I can at least understand why they called that. I can't understand the foul on the 3 or not giving UW the ball after reviewing the out-of-bounds play...but without being a big fan, I'm having trouble understanding why that is 2 shots and the ball. If a guy hooks then call it on the floor, it's dumb to go to a review.

  8. The review on the hooking play is so dumb.
  9. Probably Tanner Bronson
  10. For the record, when I brought up Hernan I was only referring to the ability to play all over the field.
  11. Few things more exciting than the prospect of another Hernan Perez type of player. Love the enthusiasm!
  12. At this stage in spring training, I'm just glad if no one gets hurt.
  13. Sounds like Framber Valdez might be out for the year hence this move. Yikes.
  14. signed with Houston
  15. I see Reyes as strictly a utility guy. In Dominican Winter League he played every position except P, C, and 1st He could be the new Hernan Perez.
  16. I don't know if he has options left but I think Wahl is a good bet to make the team.
  17. Welcome to Spring Training, Garrett Mitchell.
  18. He's up to 63%. Maybe he reads this thread. He was over 72% the first two seasons. Guessing he'll move towards that as the season progresses. I've always been worried that one of these players will read one of these threads and then I'll feel bad for insulting them. Maybe I should be nicer to our players or at least the ones who are active on Internet forums. If a Bucks player reads a Bucks thread on a Brewers fan board I would worry about that guy.
  19. There are probably 2x the number of dogs in our neighborhood since the pandemic started. When the snow melted, there were at least 20 poodle bombs on the sidewalk from our door to the corner (roughly 200 feet). I am not exaggerating - there was one every two feet.
  20. The Skip Lockwood reference made me wax nostalgic for this card: My brother gave me this (along with a Brian Downing I believe) to start my collection. I remember thinking it strange that he would wear a windbreaker under his uniform.
  21. In 2015 Royals were 7th in runs scored - had the fewest batting Ks - 2nd in batting average - 2nd in hits - 10th in OPS - tied for 9th in OBP - 7th in RBIs If you look at just the AL they were 4.47 runs per game (6th in that league). AL average was 4.39 Weird team - they were last in the AL in walks, fewest K's, 3rd in the league in doubles, 2nd last in HRs, 2nd in the league in stolen bases. So they didn't hit home runs, didn't strike out, didn't walk, hit a ton of singles and doubles and then stole bases. Regardless, I think we can agree that offense was not their calling card. They led the AL in wins above average for relief pitchers (by quite a wide margin over 2nd place)

  23. Yup. He might be up in the bigs this year.
  24. For sure, but I don't think they fought it. There is no real incentive for them to deal with it at 25% capacity. It's probably an annoyance if you think about it. A lot of people go just for that reason, it's one of the perks of Milwaukee baseball. I think at 25% capacity they will sell those tickets regardless. And now they don't have to supervise it. Right and there aren't all that many people tailgating mid week in April.
  25. I think the no tailgating edict is coming from the health department not the Brewers.
