  1. If Netflix would stop releasing full seasons of shows all at once I think there'd be a better chance for that to happen again.
  2. Rents are actually going down in a lot of places (presumably the people buying houses are the ones that were renting in the cities). https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/05/rents-are-falling-due-to-covid-heres-how-to-negotiate-a-lower-rate.html https://www.zumper.com/blog/rental-price-data/ So for Wallus, you might want to check out the rental rates over time in the area you interested in. Might be getting in on the floor of rents and the ceiling of price.
  3. If the Brewers did something like this, the same guys calling our owner cheap would be first in line calling it a dumb deal that would come back to haunt them in years 11 - 14.
  4. PECOTA has the Brewers winning the division! (sorry if this has been mentioned. I just found out)
  5. Hollywood comes out with a lot of good stuff. It could be argued we are (or just were) in a golden age of TV. It's just the big blockbusters that are all the same thing.
  6. Based on these numbers, they will make as many comic book and animated movies as they possibly can:
  7. Potter and Reuvers combined for zero rebounds.
  8. The opposite of this is also true
  9. Amazing how much better an offense looks when the shots go in the basket.
  10. I am very interested in blockchain as it apparently has commercial use even if digital currencies don't catch on as actual currencies. I just can't wrap my head around how to explain what it is or does or how it might be useful just yet. Check these two links out this should explain blockchain about as simply as you can. https://www2.deloitte.com/ch/en/pages/strategy-operations/articles/blockchain-explained.html These were great. So in the case of Ethereum.... Ethereum is the blockchain and the people along the chain that validate the smart contracts are rewarded in Ether coins. Is that sort of the gist of it? The smart contracts seem to be the commercial part that could really improve efficiency across a multitude of industries.
  11. Yeah that was pretty funny. Like a little league coach consoling a kid that struck out with the bases loaded.

    Pizza

I finally got around to ordering a Jet's pizza tonight and I really liked it. The Detroit style deep dish is where it's at. It's pan style and cut into rectangles and the edges are caramelized with cheese so you get a nice crispy reward at the end of a slice. I would say it's like a cross between Rocky's and Pizza Hut pan style. I prefer non chain pizza but would definitely do this again if I had a coupon.
  13. You think the over/under is that the Dodgers will go 122-40 next season? I'll take the under. Added Bauer and resigned Turner. 116 wins based on pct last season.Aside from SD what team in Division is fielding an 80 win team? NL central is filled with 80win teams that will have at least 1 exceed since half games played vs eachother. I will also take the under considering the most wins ever was 116.
  14. They can probably do this with a number of players.
  15. Honestly, each time we've had a pet pass away, figuring out the impossible timing of when's "not too late" but "not too soon" is the most upsetting part for me. Not that the after is awesome, but there is some relief at not having to constantly monitor appetite and symptoms. Appreciate the kind thoughts, though. So sorry to hear that. We can't wait to get a dog but I am already depressed about the day the dog we don't own yet passes away because I already know how attached I will be to it.
  16. Can testify to this. We bought a car at Car Max for $19500. We looked at the history and the exact same car had been purchased at the exact same CarMax 9 months earlier for $2500 less (then they sold it back to CarMax 8 months later).
  17. Chryst taking over play-calling duties next year. This is good. Maybe he'll be too pre-occupied to punt on 4th and 2 from the other team's 40
  18. Do they track passes batted down by a defensive lineman? Watt seemed to get three a game at Wisconsin.
  19. I think Gute said a while back that there would be some bargains in FA this year.
  20. Sort of an odd take. They signed the Smith Bros two offseasons ago, were in on trading for Mack and signing Allen Robinson. This isn't Ted Thompson anymore. And Adrian Amos
  21. Uh JJ Watt just got released. I was iffy on giving up picks to get him but if they can sign him as a FA? Sure, yes, today.
  22. My only question about this is what impact does it have on Randy Arozarena's fantasy draft status?

  25. I read I think 3 articles on Blockchain in the last few days and I still don't get it.
