  1. I think expecting a rookie to go out there and outperform MVS and/or Lazard is asking a lot. And if they aren't outperforming either of those guys then they probably wouldn't have added much this year. Now if you want to say that they needed to draft one to get ready for next year then I won't argue.
  2. He won the MVP, had 48 TD passes, and had the #1 ranked offense. If he's still ticked about not drafting a receiver then Rodgers can go pound sand.
  3. It would surprise me less if Lang hadn't said a word to Aaron and was talking out of his rear.
  4. It's supposed to be another deep WR draft. I'd be totally fine grabbing one in the first three rounds.
  5. So it provides protection against death and severe disease but not mild disease?
  6. I think GB would have beaten KC. Tampa played great... not an easy bunch of guys to root for though.
  7. he didn't say that. he said they'd beat the Chiefs.
  8. Refs threw a flag on this performance
  9. Brady playing great defense so far.
  10. Just having that motion in there as eye candy is enough even if you don't run it.
  11. Stay strong and get better soon!
  12. not true at all. If you look at a calculator that does this, it all is dependent on your tax situation. If your tax rate is the exact same at the time of contributing and when withdrawing, they will result in exactly the same amount of money. However, I think nearly everyone agrees that taxes will not be going down long-term...if anything they may go up. Therefore, it's better to pay the taxes at a lower rate now than later in life at a higher rate. Even beyond that, it's nice to look at the balance in my Roth 403b and know that the balance is what I'll get, whereas the balance in my 403b will lose a chunk to the gov't--that's the emotional/optical aspect. I've done some calculators on this and IF you invest the money you save on taxes by using a traditional 401K you come out ahead (obviously it depends on tax brackets). The problem is not many people do this I'd imagine. I think there's certainly some benefit/comfort to seeing a balance and knowing that's what you'll have when you retire.
  13. I'd have rather just stuck with Pettine.
  14. Wisconsin has actually been lagging way behind most states in distributing shots. My wife told me the state is 2nd worst in the nation at getting our people vaccinated. Roughly 1/5 of all the vaccines sent to Wisconsin haven't been used (source below). . I know they started out slow but I thought a lot of progress was made in the last week. I thought they had moved up to like 28th best or something. Per this guy they are now 6th in the nation:
  15. 1) Garrett Mitchell, OF 2) Brice Turang, SS 3) Ethan Small, LHP 4) Antoine Kelly, LHP 5) Mario Feliciano, C 6) Aaron Ashby, LHP 7) Eduardo Garcia, SS 8) Hedbert Perez, OF 9) Freddy Zamora, SS 10) Carlos Rodriguez, OF 11) Luis Medina, OF 12) Tristen Lutz, OF 13) Zavier Warren, C 14) Micah Bello, OF 15) Hayden Cantrelle, SS 16) Jackson Brayan Chourio, SS/OF 17) Jeferson Quero, C 18) David Hamilton, SS 19) Tyrone Taylor, OF 20) Corey Ray, OF 21) Dylan File, RHP 22) Jesus Parra, OF 23) Clayton Andrews, LHP/OF 24) Max Lazar, RHP 25) Jheremy Vargas, SS
  16. Can you still call Khris Davis an OF when he's played 110 innings there the last three seasons combined? OK I'll allow it.
  17. The DC in Baltimore makes $3.25 million a year. https://www.si.com/nfl/ravens/nfl/ravens/news/ravens-martindale-highest-paid
  18. My parents are scheduled to get their first shot on Monday. Seems like WI is doing a little better.
  19. I am pretty sure they offered him more than he's making now. But he made $10 million as a player so compensation might not be at the top of his list.
  20. Sounds like it's Leonard's job if he wants it:
  21. Bears are apparently talking to the Eagles about Wentz. Please make this happen...for no other reason than to reunite Foles and Wentz.
  22. Can earn an additional 500K in incentives. Thought he would have been a good guy for the Brewers to take a flyer on.
  23. RIP Christopher Plummer Best known as Capt Von Trapp in Sound of Music. More recently was Harlan Thrombley in Knives Out. He worked a LOT even into his late 80's.
  24. If I want Skyline chili I go to Real Chili in Milwaukee. Same thing.
  25. Nightengale wasn't the only one reporting it. I wonder if Dodgers came in with an extra year or Bauer was just trolling some people and saying he was signing with NY?
