  1. Apparently, the Texans want a 2nd round pick for Fuller. I wouldn't go that high.
  2. I think WSH front is pretty darn good. A lot of D in fantasy is luck but if you can get pressure on a young QB I think that tilts the scales.
  3. There's a chance Tyler Ervin is the only available RB on Thursday.
  4. Kittle is out 8 weeks.
  5. WHAT??? How good do you think a team that leads the league in snaps from the DIME defense is going to be at tackling? Playing small is never going to equate to a good tackling team. Deciding to play with 6 DBs so much and sacrifice against the run is entirely SCHEME. What's really sad is that in spite of making the CHOICE to hamstring themselves against the run with 6 DBs, here are some key passing defense rankings... Opposing QB rating: 109.8 (29th) Opposing QB Completion Percentage: 71.5% (30th) INT: 2 (31st) Yards Per Completion: 8.0 (27th) So despite setting themselves up to play the run with one arm tied behind their back, they're still terrible at defending the pass. COMPLETELY BROKEN Packers Run Defense vs MIN 8+ Defenders in Box 19 carries, 89yds Less Than 8 Defenders 15 carries, 84yds That was some of the heaviest personnel ever deployed by Pettine today... Dime - 10 Snaps Nickel - 3 Snaps Base - 39 Snaps I'm certainly not blaming all their failures on bad tacklers. Scheme plays a big role. I think half of America predicted screen on that long TD.
  6. PFF has GB rated the worst tackling team in the league. That's probably more on Gute/coaches than scheme.
  7. ?? Nine people there currently, and they've had patients there since early this past week, I believe: https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/alternate-care-facility.htm 9. Exactly. Statewide crisis it is not. Who is saying it's a crisis? I think most people think it's a potential crisis. Can we at least admit it's very serious? WI lost over 700 people to Covid in October alone. An average of 22.77 deaths per day have been reported over the past 30 days. Thirty days ago the figure stood at 7.03. And it's less about beds and more about staffing. You can probably always find a place to put someone but you need people to be able to take care of that person.
  8. This is 100% true. My Mom had a blood clot near her heart, needed to be airlifted to UW Hospital, but there was no place for her, the place was full. She ended up waiting almost 36 hours for surgery that under normal circumstances, would have been performed immediately upon the discovery. She ended up being transferred by ambulance instead, from the Southwest part of the state, to Madison. It was scarey, but it all turned out fine... Happy to hear everything turned out ok.
  9. On a positive note, the Vikings are much less likely to get Lawrence now.
  10. I was more upset with the 2nd half offense than the overall defense.
  11. Missed tackles, dumb penalties = not ready to play
  12. I wonder how windy it gets on the field relative to outside the stadium now that Lambeau is like 100 feet taller?
  13. I have no idea if Michigan is good or not. Edit: I guess no? Or maybe Rutgers is good? Gonna be a weird year in the B1G.
  14. I knew I should have put money on Maryland. Gophers look horrible again.
  15. Put an egg on your burger and you're all set.
  16. Last game he managed: And this was 9 years ago.
  17. Does anyone do daily fantasy on like DraftKings or FanDuel? If so, I have a question. Some weeks the big $1million tournament includes the 720pm Sun game and some weeks it does not. Does anybody know if there's a rhyme or reason to that? Just curious.
  18. This Carolina offense is so bad. No motion, no creativity, telegraphing everything and DJ Moore is criminally underutilized
  19. Are you suggesting that they are putting people in ICU that don't require intensive care? And that this generates additional revenue for the hospital?
  20. https://www.jsonline.com/story/money/business/health-care/2020/10/29/crush-covid-19-cases-continues-wisconsin-eyes-shortage-icu-beds-coronavirus/6058257002/
  21. Lazard practicing in pads. We might see him against San Fran.
  22. From CBS: Quarterback Start 'Em & Sit 'Em Start 'Em: Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow "Herbert was a big boom in Week 7 as the Start of the Week against Jacksonville, and he should remain in your lineup in Week 8 as well. He had 43 Fantasy points against the Jaguars and has now scored at least 23 Fantasy points in four of five starts this season. The Broncos have limited Sam Darnold, Cam Newton and, surprisingly, Patrick Mahomes in the past three games, although I'm not counting last week as a win for Denver's defense in stopping the Chiefs. Prior to that, Ryan Tannehill, Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady all scored at least 22 Fantasy points against them, and Herbert will be in that category this week."
  23. The surge in WI effectively started when the weather was still nice (around labor day). If Arizona, Texas, Florida are any indication, it's roughly a month from peak numbers back down. Problem is we won't know peak until we are past it but my guess is that it will be in a week or two. Just a guess.
