  1. I've been a proponent of elementary kids going back to school.
  2. And it was...wait for it....a false positive!
  3. Jets with a positive test. Everyone sent home.
  4. The Bears and Bucs are overrated
  5. Titans/Bills moved to Tuesday evening.
  6. We talked about surge on college campuses a few pages ago. UW Madison has seen a sharp reduction after the initial surge. Reason could be luck, could be people taking it more seriously, coudl be stricter enforcement, could be the number of students that left campus, could be a lot of things but the good news is that they are down to less than 1% positivity rate: https://madison.com/wsj/news/local/education/university/campus-covid-19-spike-subsides-whats-behind-uw-madisons-drop-in-cases/article_a497abf9-9586-5314-9e66-2209e1f793d5.html
  7. I just want to say that I am glad you are doing these things.
  8. While it's not armageddon we're probably looking at somewhere around a quarter of a million dead, we have activated a field hospital to deal with excess cases in Wisconsin, and some cities have had to deploy freezer trucks to handle all the dead bodies. So it's serious.
  9. I don't know who this guy is but he's reporting that the Titans gathered for a workout on the 30th breaking the NFL protocols. Now they have more positives this week. https://www.paulkuharsky.com/news/titans-broke-protocols-gathered-for-a-workout-last-week
  10. I think the planned GB visit was leverage to get more money from Seattle.
  11. It may be that Snacks wants a paycheck and doesn't really want to do much to get it.
  12. That may be so on the whole, but based on my personal first-hand observations in the current horrendous hot spots of the Fox Valley and Brown County, mask compliance is very, very low. I think the current 'this is just the virus running its course' mantra is the latest attempt de jour to try and minimize the human responsibility for the current situation unfolding as poorly as it is. There have been immense failures on a personal, business, and federal/state/local governmental level, and attempts to diminish culpability in that regard are plentiful. Mask compliance has got to be less than 1/3 in Washington County. I think the mandates were effective in places like Milwaukee where there was already a lot of compliance and now there is near universal compliance. Which is why the increased indoor restrictions in Milwaukee make no sense right now. A regional approach is the right way to go.
  13. Funny you mention that. Eddie claimed it was from the guitar picks he kept between his teeth.
  14. I don't think cases were going up before the college kids went back to school. It had been trending down since the end of July and was more or less holding steady. Whether it was school that caused the surge is debatable but there was definitely a surge that coincided with the return to campus. Given the age group within the initial case increase it is a pretty good assumption that it was college kids. Then it spread to the other age demographics. First day of classes for UW was Sept 2. So move-in day was probably 3 - 4 days prior. Surge happened a week after that.
  15. He had been battling throat cancer for a decade. His guitar playing was so innovative. Early Van Halen was legendary. Loved everything they did through 1984. And while the Hagar stuff has it's place it's not on the same level as the earlier work, IMO.
  16. He was beaten badly on the 4th down play on the goal line I believe.
  17. Any injury updates from last night? Deguara was the one I thought looked bad.
  18. So they get another year of eligibility but that doesn't mean teams (cough cough SEC) have to renew their scholarship right?
  19. I think Lancaster actually played pretty well last night. Hope that continues.
  20. Does it seem like the Packers receivers are consistently open by a pretty good distance? It just feels like most times the guys have two yards or more of separation between them and the nearest defender. I'm sure this is tracked somewhere but I don't know where to look.
  21. Source? Everything I'm seeing says Snacks will be in Seattle today and is scheduled to visit Green Bay on Wednesday. I would think there's a chance Seattle doesn't let him leave the building without signing on the dotted line. I got the day wrong.
  22. I don't see a defense in the NFL stopping this offense assuming they stay relatively healthy.
  23. Snakcs Harrison is visiting on Tuesday.
  24. Packers get the ball to open the 2nd half. I'd like some play action deep to MVS, please.
