They might need to sign an additional receiver and a high floor, low ceiling guy might be a decent option. Particularly one who knows the offense and the personnel. But my suggestion was mostly in jest.
Yup. I thought that with their starting pitching they could maybe be a dark horse to make it to the WS (three game series' being what they are and what not). In the current version of MLB it seems like almost everyone has enough pitching to get through a 3-game series and the real difference-maker is whether you have the bats to be able to plate runs off of the better pitching in the league. Right. I put a bet on the Reds but only because they were 50/1 odds. If they were 25/1 I wouldn't have done it.

They actually did that one year: For the 1993 season, the league experimented with the schedule by adding a second bye week for each team, resulting in an 18-week regular season
I'm not saying a team should NOT take Lawrence. They should. I'm saying the Jets are dumb enough to pass on him. And I also think they might just be dumb enough to keep the pick if they think they're going to pass on him.
If not the Brewers then the Reds simply because I was given a $100 free bet on DraftKings and I laid all on a 50/1 shot that the Reds would win it all.
Re posting this article about ventilation and Covid. Great overview of droplets vs aerosols and how masks fit into the equation: https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2020/07/why-arent-we-talking-more-about-airborne-transmission/614737/
Tuesday has traditionally been the "bad" day for case counts since this thing started. I'm worried what we will find out this afternoon re: Wisconsin's latest numbers.
A team in need of a quarterback looking to trade up into the #1 spot would talk them into the trade, citing Darnold. Unfortunately for the Jets, Darnold is no Lawrence. I think assuming the Jets trade down is assuming a lot. God it must suck to be a football fan in New York.
I think MVS gets a boost when Davante is on the field. Coverage shifts Adams' way and allows MVS to run his fly routes one on one (for the most part). Might be worth keeping one more week against a crappy ATL defense. Bye is after that so can drop him then.
