  1. Almost be worth the 50 game suspension for Bledsoe to jack him in the jaw next game.
  2. Kawhi has played like and MVP. Giannis has not. Pretty much end of story.
  3. This is the most Canadian response ever: https://www.jsonline.com/story/entertainment/2019/05/23/milwaukee-radio-station-bans-drake-music-canadian-kiss-fm-stops-playing-steve-miller/1204258001/
  4. I mean I still think the Bucks win in 7. Home court is HUGE in the NBA.
  5. I really liked Westworld but it can be really confusing at times. Season 1 is definitely worth your time.
  6. The Bucks were only two games better than Toronto this year. The series was expected to be a dogfight. But I think people recalibrated after game 2 and thought the Bucks were just going to steamroll them.
  7. "When the game gets tight, so does he. Bledsoe is 1-for-12 in his career on shot attempts to tie the game or take the lead in the second half of a playoff game" I mean...really? This tiny sample of a near meaningless stat is used as evidence of something?
  8. Oh I don't have any insider info. I'm just reposting what I've read on a couple of other boards. Someone mentioned a 1pm announcement but here we are at five after and nothing.
  9. Ok now the rumor is today...or tomorrow. Sometime before the end of August most likely
  10. I thought the Bucks found a lot of driving lanes in the 4th not sure if that was an adjustment or just Toronto getting tired.
  11. If he ever develops an outside shot he might be MVP.
  12. Agreed. Bucks swept the Lakers that year. They would have just shot over the top of Shaq.
  13. George Hill absolutely stepped up. He had 24 on NINE shots. 60 fouls called in 58 minutes of play. That was astoundingly horrible officiating. No consistency in what or how the game was called on either side. yeah those officials were really bad. Kawahi is the master at drawing a foul with zero contact. Some bad calls both ways though.
  14. I thought the Bucks should have gone to the bench for a few minutes in the 1st OT. The starters played a ton of minutes in the 4th and were absolutely dragging. Toronto was on their heels and I think some fresh legs might have been enough. Good news is I don't think Toronto can play better and I know the Bucks can.
  15. And just when people call for him to be sent back to the minors he hits his first dinger. Baseball gods are like that.
  16. I think my way would end tanking immediately. I don't see any reason teams in your scenario don't tank the first half of the season. And they can't get the #1 pick? Darn, guess I'll go for #2.
  17. nearly everyone here thought the Pirates gave up way too much. Also, when a thread asked if anyone was willing to give up Hiura to get Archer the first 19 responses ranged from "No" to "Absolutely not". So yes, some people wanted Archer. No, they weren't willing to empty the farm for him. I said nothing about Hiura. I said nothing about emptying the farm, but instead said an "excessive cost to our farm." That is far from "emptying" it. Are you saying that no one here was on board with acquiring Archer? Maybe a visit to the "Archer" general thread would dispel that notion. As I mentioned, people wanted Archer. Nearly everyone thought the Pirates gave up way too much to get him.
  18. I think the only way Toronto can win a game is if they have a 10+point lead entering the fourth and then hope the Bucks miss every shot. The Bucks are too fresh and too deep.
  19. Do we know his bat to ball skills are elite if he's missing pitches in the zone? Hiura has 5 whiffs in 12 ABs. That is bothersome. He has to show something today and tomorrow to remain in the big leagues. I think another 4 K day gets him sent down and either Dubon or Saladino comes up. Tough crowd
  20. nearly everyone here thought the Pirates gave up way too much. Also, when a thread asked if anyone was willing to give up Hiura to get Archer the first 19 responses ranged from "No" to "Absolutely not". So yes, some people wanted Archer. No, they weren't willing to empty the farm for him.
  21. 4-dimensional chess. Lose to the Pirates on purpose so they mortgage their future, leaving one less threat in the Central to contend with for years to come. Great minds and what not.... viewtopic.php?p=1139097#p1139097
  22. Yes, please move Hauser discussion to Badger thread.
  23. An interesting blurb in The Athletic today about three-point shooting. "The Bucks believe that by protecting the rim better than any other team and by not sending opponents to the line, they can live with average or worse 3 point shooters taking them. After all, the league average on above-the-break threes this year was a little under 35 percent meaning an average top 3 was worth around 1.05 points (per possession) right around what the Bucks league leading best defense allowed overall." So if a team had 100 possessions in a game and shot 100 three-pointers and made 35 they'd score 105 points.
  24. Rumor out there that Hausers are announcing today.
  25. I really don't see any feasible way to get rid of tanking in a sport where one guy can make such a huge difference. About the only thing you could do is threaten to delegate a team down to the G League like they do in the soccer leagues. Obviously is never going to happen.
