  1. What are you 40+ year old guys up to on July 26?
  2. Tyler Glasnow leaves the game with "forearm tightness". Yikes. edit: Only expected to miss 4 - 6 weeks. Thought that was Tommy John for sure.
  3. Corey Ray goes yard. Hope he can get on track.
  4. "Here's where Hiura would have made the difference!" - Someone somewhere
  5. I said the option is fine. Beyond a year would not be all that wise. But whatever....I'm not worrying about this stuff until after the playoffs. I was responding to someone else who also mentioned age. I agree that he's not a multiyear piece unless it's a huge bargain, but I see no reason to worry about his age on a 1-year deal considering how he's playing now. In fact, one could argue that having him on an expensive but short deal is exactly what you want. It's the multiyear commitments that could really kill the payroll once Giannis gets the supermax. Lopez, for example, is a huge 7-footer with a history of foot problems. He's almost as old as Hill and might require a full 3-year MLE deal to retain, and I think any team that gives him that is going to regret it I love the financial meta-game, even during the playoffs. Not trying to derail the thread or anything but it's a great chess game. yeah no worries. I was mid post and thinking to myself "I don't really like or want to understand the salary cap stuff why am I even posting about it?" So it was more a note to myself rather than anyone in particular

  7. George Hill is 33 and has missed big chunks of the last 4+ seasons with injuries. If you want to pick up his option that's one thing. But I would think long and hard about doing anything past a year.
  8. May 10th. Last day of finals at Marquette. Should be hearing about the Hausers soon I'd imagine.
  9. I'm not 100% on this but I think the Bucks analytics team figures out where most misses go based on where the shot starts. So if you shoot a free throw line extended three point shot it tends to miss towards the elbow on the opposite side. Stuff like that might play into it as well particular for a guard who's going to be on the perimeter. But mostly it's probably good instincts and technique.
  10. I think Jaylen Brown is the only one on Boston who gives a rip.
  11. I had a feeling Boston would pack it in if they couldn't get a lead in the 2nd half. Bunch of solo artists.
  12. When Giannis sits for 6+ min and the lead goes nowhere you know Boston is in trouble.
  13. Bucks were up 9, I went to grab something from the fridge, and now they're up 15.
  14. You guys take this draft thing seriously. Agree with Lou Ely...knock it off.
  15. Brewers may never lose again.
  16. There is literally nothing in that article that stirs the pot.
  17. If what I've been saying from the start has changed, how did CHL so eloquently summarize with great detail exactly what I laid out last fall. There's no doubt he conveys information far better than I. And I literally just posted for something like the 3rd or 4th time in the past week that I should have handled my own responses better. I've done what the mods have asked. It's a shame others aren't being held to the same standard because then the nonsense would stop and the focus would again be the change that is literally happening before our eyes. And we could also start enjoying the change that is working right now. No you haven't. Condescension has no place here and you are continually the instigator. See your PM's. Be better or don't post.
