  1. Wouldn't surprise me to see a bump to A+ before the end of the year....maybe after the draft.
  2. Re: Dawkins I agree that the Bucks need high floor guys.
  3. You're picking a weird hill to die on here. A 24 year old minor league arm off TJ that's wrecking every level. I remember CC having very favorable comments about his arm in ST. He may not make the majors this year, but very strong chance we see him in AAA at the rate he's going...possibly after only a couple more starts. The nature of hype. When its high its almost always too high. When it swings the other way its typically too drastic. I'm not killing the guy, I have my concerns and I'm sitting in rational territory. Thrilled to have him in the system. Not buying the 2019 playoff secret weapon stuff. For his age, he's getting promoted aggressively like he should be. I even called the promotion to Biloxi between his last A+ game and the AA promotion. I actually think you guys agree but don't realize it yet.
  4. I know he's old but I really like Aubrey Dawkins at UCF.
  5. I'd be curious to know how this all went down after they left MU. Maybe some little elves will spill the beans as time goes by. Might be nothing else other than they liked MSU and VA enough to split up but might be other stuff going on too. At any rate, I'd be interested to know why neither wanted to go to UW.
  6. I think Josh Jones would be ok in the right scheme. He just doesn't fit what they want to do.
  7. I work in video and have some (minimal) experience converting these. It's been a while but if you send me a screenshot of your settings I might be able to assist. just off the top of my head and without knowing if this is a setting, I would make sure the frame rate on the output (digital) is the same as the frame rate on the input (video). So if the video is 29.97 make sure the frame rate on the digital isn't 59.96 or 23.98.
  8. Not asking you to do this and maybe I will if I find the time but I'd be curious how that compares to the Reds.
  9. ESPN was not even close to the only outlet covering it that way.
  10. I think that one bothers me the most simply because the odds of Wisconsin ever making it to another championship game in my lifetime are incredibly slim.
  11. Agreed. No reason to extend him. Sucks for Woody but that's the way it goes.
  12. Turns game on - hey gotta see this no hit shutout! One pitch later - back to gardening...
  13. I don't really understand the interest in Smart. Is it just because he's a "name" and grew up in Madison? His teams have chronically underachieved relative to his recruiting since he got to Texas.
  14. I not sure Hiura has been even "serviceable". In his 10 games played he has struck out 2,3, or 4 times in 5 of those games. Right now he is whiffing at a 40% rate (17/42PAs). He's come up with 17 runners in scoring position and driven in one. His other RBI came on a solo HR. 4 times he has whiffed with a runner on 3rd. Very poor no matter how you look at it. Granted it's a small sample size, but he's not hitting like expected. The good side is that he's doing so much better than Shaw. He struck out a lot in his first taste of AAA this year but then improved. It may take him a few weeks to get acclimated. It was unfair to think he'd set the world on fire right away.
  15. Yeah we think we've got it bad, we've at least been in the title game in recent-ish memory in pro football. Minnesota hasn't made an appearance in a pro sports title game since 1991 I believe.
  16. Bucks defense was more than fine. Their offense was horrible.
  17. The news about Howard Moore certainly puts things into perspective. What an awful tragedy.
  18. Yes! Renewed hope! Also what kind of a loser waits until his team goes up 3 - 2 to make a guarantee?
  19. Can't tell anybody that here. So long as they don't make layups, you let the other team take every uncontested 3 they want. Who cares if they make em. They won 60 games with that method, you didn't know? Sweet straw man. But for the millionth time, literally none of the data in this series would support the argument that leaving guys "wide open for threes" is why they are going to lose. TOR is hitting them at about the same clip everybody else did. You know what isn't happening the same? The Bucks making their own shots. Yup other than game 4, defense has not been the issue.
  20. Can't tell anybody that here. So long as they don't make layups, you let the other team take every uncontested 3 they want. Who cares if they make em. They won 60 games with that method, you didn't know? You picked the Celtics in 5.
  21. Winning the series now would be pretty epic.
  22. You still want to give Middleton a max contract?
  23. Cuz their bench has been lights out the last two games.
