    RB's get hurt so often that it doesn't make a ton of sense to invest a huge part of your salary cap towards them. Packers have three solid RB's on rookie deals.

    Living in Chicago, I have been overjoyed at their muddled personnel and coaching decisions since Pace took over at GM. I hope he stays forever. Fox was a McCaskey group hiring and Pace did not want to hire him. The struggles for the Bears have been the owners overriding their GM in terms of hiring coaches. I know. It's wonderful.

    A lot of that is just timing. He will most likely not even be top 10 in salary by this time next year.

    They could defer some of Adams deal until later on so they don't take as big a hit next year. Possible all three are back. Won't be the case after that though.

    Average minutes played are way down in the NBA versus 10 years ago. Giannis' 38 MPG would have been 10th in the league 8 years ago.

    Every time one of these relievers signs for a big contract I wonder about what kind a package Knebel is worth. Only thing against him is he had just the one big year. If he repeats in 2018, he could be flipped for a massive haul at the deadline. Good thing about that is even the small market teams in contention will compete for him, since salary isn't an issue. Even better is he isn't a FA until 2022. So Brewers aren't forced to do anything with him for a while.

    Rosen is a millionaire whether he gets drafted 1st drafted 30th or quits football to teach kindergarten.

    One interesting thing that bitcoin can potentially do is "program" where the money can be spent. So if you send aid to a third world nation, for example, the money can only be targeted for medicine and supplies and cannot be used to buy a missile launcher.

    Browns lost four games by three points and the Packer game in OT. They are actually pretty good on both lines and have a bunch of high draft picks from last year and next year. They won't be awful forever. It's actually a decent situation for a QB if they can get some skill guys.

    A mid 3 ERA start as a #3? A mid 3 ERA starter is an ace. The way people still treat pitchers like this is 1986 is amazing. Mid 3's is Jimmy Nelson. Is he an ace?

    Guys, this is a perfect opportunity to just let it go. I posted the rules of etiquette, messaged a few of you privately, and you still continue to flaunt the rules. We haven't warned anyone officially about stuff like this is a long time because for the most part people are civil. But that can change in a hurry. Please, just be normal humans.

    Just for argument's sake, the Ryan Braun 5 year $100 million extension probably won't look so good.

    I think this is good value for a 4/5 starter which is what he essentially is right now. If he improves to a 3 it's incredible value. Even if he goes to the pen and they put him in against righties in high leverage situations it ends up being pretty good value given the kind of money getting thrown around at relievers these days.

    Bitcoin down almost 40% from high water mark....that only took a week. I don't have the stomach for those peaks and valleys...play money at best for me if I ever get into it.
