  1. Agreed. The Reds will be regretting that contract in due time......maybe they already are.
  2. I think there is a world map. You could choose any state you've been in but for this thread I tried to narrow it down to states you've spent a night in - as in you stopped and slept there.
  3. When UW made the Rose Bowl in 1994 there was some vandalism but no fires. I think one shop window was cracked, a police car had it's lights ripped off, and there were broken bottles and what not but nothing huge. I remember a utility van on state street that some guys started to tip but the crowd intervened and told them it was probably a dumb idea. One guy in a gorrilla suit fell out of a tree and died though....or maybe that was Halloween.
  4. Well, the last domino of the lower 48.True. Edited original comment. FTJ is afraid of polar bears.
  5. FTJ dominating the western Continental US. North Dakota is the last domino to fall.
  6. Dempster is going to be 32 next season. At most he should get a three year deal and an expectation that he doesn't achieve what he did last year. Granted, maybe the years in the bullpen saved some wear and tear on his arm but that's an awfully pricey risk to take for MKE.
  7. You see that little speck on Missouri? I thought that was dirt on my monitor and spent two minutes trying to wash it off.

  9. Sessions better stop turning the ball over if he wants to be a starting PG. Granted it's only been a couple games but still...
  10. If Gwynn had kept improving after his 2nd year in AA I'd be willing to give him a shot but he's gotten worse. He's running out of time to improve - he'll be 26 at the start of next season (same age as Weeks).
  11. I really don't want to see Weeks in CF. He doesn't appear to have any fielding instincts at all in the field (I've seen him get turned around so often on pop ups that the thought of him going back on a line drive frightens me) and would be a very risky investment in CF for a team that may contend again next year.
  12. Overall I thought it was very average. There were some funny parts (as mentioned earlier) but on the whole it was 'meh'.
  13. I thought it was pretty bad actually.
  14. I wouldn't mind having Baldelli off the bench.

  16. I wouldn't mind having Baldelli off the bench.
  17. If Gagne got $10 million for one season..... Not saying that's a starting point but if the Brewers were going to shell out that kind of dough on Gagne, they might certainly entertain the thought of doing something like 1 year $5 million plus incentives.
  18. Damon Jones is listed in the box score as DNP - Inactive. So he's still on the roster.
  19. I had to rewind the "that's what she said" whisper about ten times because it was so funny.
  20. I'd rather pass judgement now.
  21. According to the box score, Sessions was DNP - Inactive for yesterday. Not a coach's decision: http://jsonline.stats.com...25&home=25&vis=15
  22. I was waiting for that. You are soooo predictable...and portly.
  23. I got really drunk at a bar and took a hot chick home with me. When I woke up the next morning I found she had morphed overnight into a disgusting sea hag! That was creepy. It's happened to other guys I know too.
  24. The Descent was great - although I'm not sure why the director went for gore. It was scary enough without it. The same director made a film called Dog Soldiers which is supposed to be pretty good. I highly recommend The Ring. Not a lot of gore but really creepy. I'm sure the Japanese version is pretty good too (The Ring Virus) I saw a movie in high school called I, Madman which at the time I thought was really good. But then again, I thought Halloween IV was really good back then too. For creep factor alone, I love The Shining. Carrie is also really good.
