He definately looks like the type of player the Crew drafts, a High Schooler with high upside. His power/speed combo is exactly what the crew needs more of in the OF.

Why the need to clear 2 spots on the 40 man roster? Is there a trade in the works?

Ricki Weeks played with 2 1st round picks at Southern, 2B Michael Woods, and CF Freddy Lewis. Both are off to good starts in there Pro careers. I was wondering if someone in the know could post a comparison of the college numbers of them versus Weeks and contrast there physical talents?

Can we at leat wait untill Josh Murray is 18 to call him a complete bust? How ridicuous is it that people are saying the Crew was had because of a slow start by a kid who won't turn 18 untill August. Drafter Jack has been way too good to not get the benefit of the doubt.

Nichols also mentioned he was impressed with Dennis Sarafate, Saying "he has a low 90s fastball and real nice curve". He mentioned Brian Foster is good working with pitchers and is always studying opposing hitters. Thats the kind of catcher Yost is looking for.

Lets not be tough on Jack Z just because all the screw ups that were made by someone else during the Bando era.
