    A couple of years back I got hooked on collecting baseball cards again. I have been wondering if I'll get hooked on video games again....but from reading some of the responses, I'd need a Ph.D. to play again.

    I'm preparing to buy one.....some home theater guys installing a projector and screen in my house said it is a "must have" for such a setup. In addition to enjoying playing games myself...I have two young kids. Are there any updates on new games or recommendations on which type of accessories or configuration I should score?

    Too complicated to report on TV to begin with....

    The first half of their show is their traditional "Christmas Opera," and the second half is a mixture of their other stuff (which I call their "showing off" half of the show). These folks are incredibly talented musicians. We saw them in Phoenix last Thanksgiving, and liked them so much we saw them again in Milwaukee, which was just after Christmas. Amazing stuff. We're going to see them in Madison this year, since we'll be gone when they are in Milwaukee. If you are even curious about this stuff....it's a must-see. They rock the place hard....their concept is ingenious.

    This is not just a one time thing. Every year, they have one of the worst records in baseball in the second half. This year is the same. Someone has to be accountable for this. Ned infuriates me at times, but I like him. Yet, it's just time for a change of scenery, with some new fire and focus. Ned can go on to win 10 World Series with someone else, but I think it is appropriate to see if someone else can connect with this team, and do so now.

    I wouldn't be surprised that you received something last year, Al. This has been planned for quite awhile, yet it's bubbling up quite hot right now. The only reason I mention it is that the likelihood seems high at the moment. Nice graphic Jay...the team that would be acquired and moved is on your map. This is an atypical transaction...part real estate play, part Milwaukee baseball guys, etc. There is one former Brewer involved as well.

    This transaction contemplates the acquisition of an existing Midwest League team and then a relocation to Delevan into a new stadium (that hasn't yet been built of course). This deal has been talked about for 18 months or so but now seems to be heating up and likely.

    That is what some are hoping.... There is a well-heeled and very credible group of folks in Milwaukee that are working on buying a Class A minor league team and moving it to Delevan, next to the dogtrack. The goal would be to become the Brewers Class A affiliate, and do a bunch of cross-promotional things. They apparently would build (or someone would build for them) a new, small stadium as part of the deal. These are not "fly by night" guys and the team they are looking to purchasing already exists, and would be moved.

    I've been wondering the same. Attanasio was all over the media, big smiles, accepting the congratulations from everyone, and has disappeared since the slide began. I'd be more impressed if he was consistent...if you want the spotlight when things are good, you should work through it when things are bad as well. It's not like the media hasn't wanted his commentary the last several months.

    I am guessing McClung comes up as well. Given the pounding the bullpen has absorbed, I wouldn't be surprised with three pitchers coming up.

    I'd love to acquire the JJ Hardy we saw the first six weeks of the season. The Cappy from last season. The Suppan who was supposed to stabilize the rotation. A mere sighting of Ben Sheets would be a nice acquisition. Acquiring a new manager would please me as well. If just 75% of the guys would play as expected they would be fine.

    Hyper-conservative (Opus Dei) Catholic....had a friend tell me today that Wolfe was his prof and he actually found him quite boring. I don't know him personally.

    Thanks...I hope i didnt make it too much of an opinion piece this mon th... Well...it did contain a great deal of opinion...but that's why I liked it so much. It was provocative and made us think, regardless of how we viewed the trade. I don't like the trade one bit.

    Ugh. Weeks to AAA makes me sad, but hopefully it'll steraightn wout his swing. He can't hit a breakiung bnall for the life of him. I',m druink. Saget...this is classic stuff. Nearly in the WOAH SOLVVD genre....I laughed out loud.

    I've been hoping this would happen to Rickie for a few weeks now. He needs regular playing time where he can just focus on stroking the ball. He'll be back....he needs the mental cleansing.

    What about piggybacking Manny and Yo....each one goes four innings each start max....they rotate who starts the game.

    Do we need a rundown 30 something pitcher? Is Don Sutton still available? Morris would be interesting....reminds me of the kind of guy who might be able to muster up some leadership and good starts as we approach the critical late-season run.
