  1. So basically, Adames replaces Urias, but then Urias takes the playing time from Voglebach, Peterson, Robertson, McKinney.
  2. Adames would lead the Brewers in Ks this year, more than Bradley and Shaw.
  3. As a plus, does this mean we don't have to see any more of Reyes, Peterson, Robertson and Lopes?
  4. Assume they'll make another roster move. Reyes gets optioned and what pitcher gets recalled? Milner and Weigel haven't been optioned for 10 days. Wahl and Yardley would seem to need more rehab time.
  5. Just noticed that Lauer is starting in AAA today along with the Brewers mentioning that he will be stretched out as a starter and that they will go with 6 starters when there aren't days off, he could be lined up to start on 5/26.
  6. He's hitting .071 in AAA. Seems like he's ready to join the Brewers.
  7. I imagine moving or lowering the mound would have a huge pushback from the players union. That could hugely impact pitchers and I imagine could lead to injuries. At the very least, there would be a huge adjustment period, where guys would have to re-learn how to pitch. I think looking at the ball has to be the starting point.
  8. I predict we will see Perez in Milwaukee before we see Green.
  9. Green isn't even playing in AAA now. All the rehabbers plus Perez are playing over him right now.
  10. So outside of the 3 long-term injuries, everyone else is on rehab assignment in AAA. I imagine Fisher gets DFA'd eventually. 1 of Robertson, Peterson and Lopes get the utility spot in Milwaukee, the other 2 get DFA'd and Reyes gets optioned. Wahl gets optioned when his rehab is done.
  11. Nashville clubhouse is getting crowded. We've got Wiegel and Maile optioned , Godley outrighted and Yelich and Roberston joining Fisher, Lopes and Peterson on rehab assignment. You've got most of the AAA lineup going to be fighting it out for the last bench spot in Milwaukee.
  12. He has been outrighted to Nashville.
  13. I think the writing was on the wall for Nottingham considering how few ABs he got. Just hope both catchers don't get hurt again. And I see Yelich and Robertson are starting rehab assignments in Nashville. 5 rehabbers in Nashville now.
  14. He's probably better than the other utility infield options, right? (Lopes, Peterson, Reyes, Robertson)
  15. Suter activated for tonight.
  16. It sounds like they want Lindblom to make at least one more longer rehab start, so he likely won't be back this week. Fisher, Peterson, Lopes and Wahl likely use the full 20 days before making a decision. I would guess they'll wait until the 13th to activate Burnes for his next start. Potentially we could see Suter, Yardley and Narvaez tonight, replacing Zimmerman, Weigel and Maile. I'm guessing they'll try to delay the Nottingham decision as long as possible, especially making sure that Pina and Narvaez are healthy.
  17. Just realized that bereavement list is max 7 days, so Suter comes back by the end of the week, too. That 4th pitcher spot is a tough choice. Another reason why I think they leave Lindblom in AAA a bit longer to get straightened out.
  18. I would think they are in no rush to end the 20 day rehab assignments for Fisher, Peterson and Lindblom. Those go until the 23th. But it sounds like Yardley, Narvaez and Burnes could be back this week.
  19. https://www.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/news/2021/05/07/brewers-take-minority-ownership-stake-bally-sports.html A bit of new information. It's estimated the deal went from $20 to $34 million per year and that the Brewers took a minority ownership stake in Bally Sports WI. And a direct to consumer option to launch next year.
  20. I'm guessing they're waiting to see when Anderson will be ready and then option Bettinger.
  21. Looks like we have timelines for most of the 10 day players
  22. Does Nottingham get some time at 1B once Pina returns? Sounds like Pina and Narvaez will be minimum 10 days on the IL and I don't think they want to lose him again.
  23. Updated first post with 17 players.
  24. It's been difficult to follow all of the injuries, so I thought it might be useful to have 1 thread for the injured list. 60 Day (5): Lopes 3/8 Right oblique (5/11 AAA rehab assignment) Mathias 3/16 Labrum tear (Out for the year) Topa 4/1 Right flexor strain (2nd half) Wahl 4/1 Right oblique strain (5/11 AA rehab assignment, 5/18 rehab moved to AAA) File 5/2 Right elbow surgery (2nd half) 10 Day (1): Fisher 4/1 Left hamstring injury (5/22 New AAA rehab assignment) https://www.mlb.com/brewers/news/a-look-at-the-brewers-injury-timetable?t=brewers-injury-report
  25. I believe we are down to 4 players who are not on the active roster or IL (though File is injured right?). Feliciano, File, Ray, Sobotka.
