  1. I believe it's 2 streams.
  2. I'm guessing Gonzalez gets the start. Probably why he hasn't pitched. But can we please ban the Brewers from saying that an injury is minor, he's day to day and he should avoid the DL?
  3. I don't have a problem with him sitting out in 2020. I do have a problem with him doing nothing to stay in shape that year, which he admitted.
  4. I'm sorry but will not remember him fondly. Paid $80 million for 1 good year. He was already injury prone and he does absolutely nothing to stay in shape in 2020. No surprise that he broke down last year. Pretty obvious that he was just playing for the money this year.
  5. Agreed. I think everyone thought 5 years was too long, but I thought we'd get more than 1 good year out of him.
  6. I'd rather see what they can do together, than what we've had, which is 1/3 of all starts at 2B, SS and 3B being made by Peterson and Brosseau.
  7. I think you're underestimating the injuries. Missing 40% of the starting rotation, seems like every reliever and 2/3rd of the lineup at some time or another. How many games have Urias, Wong and Adames played together? Even if guys only miss a couple weeks, how much time does it take them to get back in a groove.
  8. I'm curious where this would go, balancing the placement of the entertainment district close to the stadium vs still having preferred parking where they can charge way more.
  9. With a 13 man pitching staff coming in June, I would think they were heading towards a 5 man rotation. But they will need someone for the double header next week.
  10. I'm still amazed to think that there were 5 Hall of Famers on that team. And only 1 after those guys.
  11. Counsell said they need another bullpen arm because Ashby will be starting for most of May.
  12. Timely article about Sabathia. He pitched better overweight, but now that he's retired and golfing, he's ripped. https://lm.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftrib.al%2FcixzX0m&h=AT0GJFPSaMCn2EAiXBYhmhthj58zHw3WcmoK9XcxhWIUMFOl9yRyIkJosXbpTSvGtX3OWkYuN_xqitjZpd9M-ZZKyQ1f7OKjz4n7cZHI0TgQ81aux5bJrPIrhm7LMUgjNQ
  13. With a 28 man roster, Reyes likely makes the opening day roster and can backup SS if needed.
  14. Isn't the minimum $700,000 now? Does he get bumped up to the minimum?
  15. Not sure how the double header will work, but I would think 5 games in Sep/Oct would draw better than April, outside of the home opener.
  16. Not sure if I missed this elsewhere, but they are playing the Giants on 4/25 (1 game homestand) and a double-header on 9/8. Then the AZ games get tacked onto the end of the season. That double header gives them 18 games in 17 days.
  17. It looks like my family fits the demographic, with 3 kids. We rarely used the field level play area because we're usually in the Terrace. We've used the small play area on the Terrace level. I'm interested to see what it will look like.
  18. What I've seen: full 162 games. 12 team playoff. universal DH. player can only be optioned 5 times a year. Lottery for first 6 picks. CBT: $230m-$244m Banning shift and pitch clock coming next year.
  19. This came to mind when reading updates about negotiations.
  20. There are articles in the JS, if anyone is a subscriber: https://www.jsonline.com/restricted/?return=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.jsonline.com%2Fstory%2Fmoney%2Freal-estate%2Fcommercial%2F2022%2F02%2F14%2Fmilwaukee-brewers-have-planned-years-seek-more-public-money%2F6709037001%2F https://www.jsonline.com/restricted/?return=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.jsonline.com%2Fstory%2Fmoney%2Freal-estate%2Fcommercial%2F2022%2F02%2F04%2Fbrewers-could-seek-public-funds-ballpark-but-not-5-counties%2F6661458001%2F
  21. I think the idea is that it would be one monthly fee for everything on the app, not paying for each sport.
  22. I think that's going to be the balancing act. Can Sinclair/Bally/Fanatics make enough money on streaming when the cable money starts drying up?
  23. I've been reading up on some of the Sinclair/Bally changes. It appears they have deals in place to begin their own streaming service with 11 NHL and 16 NBA teams next year. Rumors are it will be $23/month. MLB is trickier. While they have broadcast rights to 14 teams, they only have streaming rights to 4 of them. And Manfred wants MLB to maintain some control and ownership of any streaming. But it does appear that Milwaukee is one of the 4 teams that Sinclair owns the streaming rights to. Then there is the crazy amount of debt that Sinclair has taken on and rumors that the Diamond Sports division that runs the RSNs may file for bankruptcy. This could lead Fanatics to buy them, whom MLB already owns part of due to their merchandise deal. They also have merchandising deals with NHL and NBA. Fanatics could also buy other RSN from NBCUniveral and AT&T. This could lead to a service where you can watch sports, buy merchandise and tickets and bet on the game, all in one place. Bottom line is that whatever comes over the next year, likely isn't the final form this will take.
  24. I just saw that Peterson signed for $1.825, higher than the estimated $1.3.
  25. I like the trade, but don't know much about Renfroe. Led MLB in OF assists (16) and errors (12). How do you have 12 errors in the OF? I believe the entire Brewer's OF last year had 15 assists and 8 errors.
