  1. I'm trippin' big time. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/pimp.gif EDIT: Just lost my "buzz." Darn, I was just starting to think the Brewers were gonna make the playoffs.
  2. Geez, it seems like just last week Houston was about 13 games under .500. This is the same thing they pulled last year before they made the playoffs. Just goes to show you that it's a long season and anything can change...unless of course you're the Brewers (or so it seems.)
  3. Anyone else get the feeling that Lohse is going to shut us down? It's only natural after we tatooed last year's Cy Young winner in Santana yesterday.
  4. It sure would be nice to win tonight and ride the momentum of winning the last two games. How many times this year have the Brewers won a big game then laid an egg in the next one? Probably too many to count.
  5. Who the hell are those two dumb broads wearing red sitting right behind home plate? If they don't stop that stupid dancing every inning I might just have to drive down to Miller Park myself and see that they never dance again. Of course, they are Cub fans.
  6. Not to defend Jenkins' suckability, but that first strikeout was horrible...that last pitch was a good 6 inches off the plate. These umpires have been horrible in this series. Kudos to the guy behind the Brewers dugout laying into the ump behind the plate.
  7. "I don't believe what I just saw!"
  8. Taylor made double play and Weeks dropped the ball on the transfer from glove to hand. Sutton said Weeks has a bad tendancy to try and flip the ball from his glove to his throwing hand and that's why he dropped it.
  9. As if this loss wasn't bad enough, knowing we have to go against Zambrano and Rusch (never thought I'd say that) in the next two games is killer.
  10. Seeing the Yankees score 20 runs tonight on 23 hits (13 runs in one inning) makes you really see just how pathetic this offense (and team) are. Without looking it up, I'll bet we haven't scored 20 runs in our last 6-7 games combined.
  11. If Santos plays for St Louis, we're talking about a dark horse Cy Young candidate. Friggin' shame our guys can't play defense/score for him. I feel badly for our fans at the game...it's bad enough watching this from my living room. Way to go Brewers. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif
  12. He's been doing that all year. How many times do we see a pitch right over the heart of the plate but low and Daron says "there's a pitch outside."
  13. We can blame tonight's probable loss on the Journal Sentinal. They had a small piece in today's paper on how the Brewers are the second best team in baseball when leading after 6 innings...something like 25-1. And what happens tonight....of course.
  14. I hope Williams is a fly ball pitcher because the ball is carrying out as well as I have ever seen it the past couple of days. Lee and Burnitz hardly got all of it and both almost went out.
  15. Would you rather Yost left Turnbow in? Despite the good looking numbers, I wouldn't trust Turnbow with a one run lead. I'd be all for Melvin trading Derrick for some more offense while his stock is still semi-high. I think Turnbow is gonna be like Kolb all over again...a one year wonder. There is a reason so many teams got rid of him.
  16. Hey Wes, throw some damn strikes. What a bum.
  17. This game has 15-9 written all over it...unfortunately, I doubt we'll be on the 15 side.
  18. Darron said Miller strained his back.
  19. Game over. Pathetic. If things don't change soon this is going to be like last year's second half all over again. But what's that you say? The majority of our last games are against weak teams? Yeah, well we look like CRAP against the worst team in baseball. FRIGGIN PATHETIC.
  20. Why is it that the Brewers have been this painful on offense all year, yet every time they get shut down by a terrible pitcher I'm shocked. It's just unreal how much we are struggling.
  21. I have never seen so many lazy fly balls in one series. 9 runs in 24 innings so far vs. the worst pitching staff in baseball. Losing tonight will be killer.
  22. Sometimes I think the man upstairs just doesn't like us. If we didn't have bad luck, we'd have no luck at all.
  23. The first was a horrible "lollipop" throw on a routine groundball that he just tossed about 5 feet wide. The second was a ball he had to go to his right about 6 steps and he tried to play it off a hop and it went right under his glove. The first one was pathetic...just no effort. The second was a little bit tougher but one that major league defenders make 99% of the time.
  24. Scary average is scary good when you're a Brewer fan....sure hope we can win tomorrow or this good feeling that we all have right now turns 180 degrees in the other direction.
  25. If you're Brainerd, at what point do you realize that this interview is going nowhere and Ohka wants no part of it. But no, he keeps on asking long drawn out question after question. Get a clue Bob.
