  1. J. Bennett has potential he just needs to learn to stop hanging sliders and most definitely should not be used in important situations.
  2. Helms needs to sit on the bench. Shoddy defense and no power.

  4. Capuano's slider has been very impressive tonight. Too bad he's melting down in the sixth http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif .
  5. Back to the regular lineup, except for Ginter batting second. I'm calling this one a win, right now. 6. You have to let Kiesch swing away in that situation.
  7. Watching the Brewers lately is not enjoyable. That is my PG feedback on watching the last two games.
  8. Can't worsen things, thats for sure. Santos should have batted towards the top yesterday, as he was the only one with an extra base hit (I believe).
  9. Not to mention the NL West teams.
  10. I know Lasorda has a great deal of respect for Sheets. I expect Sheets to throw a good game tonight.
  11. Well, we still are fairing much better than most expected. I think everyone needs to realize that this is still a rebuilding year, and that the playoffs are a long shot. That being said, I certainly feel everyone else's frustration. It brings pain to my heart when thinking where this team would be with last year's decidedly mediocre offense. I guess its always something, huh?
  12. Someone needs to tell Bill and Darron that the opposing pitchers aren't throwing masterfully, rather they are playing against a AAA lineup.
  13. "I wish to (expletive) I would have known that they were throwing at us in that game," Backman said. "If I would have known that, somebody would have got hit right in the (expletive) head. That's a fact because I would have ordered that." Taking things a little too far...
  14. Jason LaRue out on a sacrifice fly to right fielder Brady Clark. Sean Casey scores. Adam Dunn out at home. Adam Dunn out at home, right fielder Brady Clark to first baseman Lyle Overbay to shortstop Bill Hall to third baseman Wes Helms. This is what is on my Gameday. What happened?
  15. Even with the horrible offense, shouldn't there thereotically come a time, in one game, where the stars are aligned and all the formerly random hits become complementary of each other, and without an increase in offensive production, the Brewers could manage many-a-runs? Or are the Brewers fighting against the basic laws of the universe?
  16. Perhaps the Brewers will be able to knock Harang out and get to the Reds' weak bullpen. That would be swell. Edit: It would also be swell if Billy Hall came through here. He has good numbers vs Harang, too...
  17. Grieve OPS: .796 (OBP of .395) Clark OPS: .742 (OBP of .365)

Brady Clark getting the start also... Cubs lineup doesn't look so tough Bako, Macias, and Ordonez, and no Aram. Hopefully Sheeter gets his tenth.
  19. Quick Update -------------------- 4-2 Stars in the sixth. Housman is throwing a gem, I think. He must have quite a few strikeouts, as the announcer was talking about him pursuing the Stars record of 13?. Edited - Housman has 10 Ks through six innings. He may be coming out now, according to the announcer. I must be going until later.
  20. Thank you for the Link Report MassBrew - it turned my frown upside down.
  21. Sheets will dominate.
