  1. I'm rooting HARD for Baylor. Simply because i love what that coach has done. He comes into an impossible situation and has turned the program around.
  2. Anybody see that Denver LOST tonight? RIT pulled off the huge upset 2-1. That being said, SCSU really scares me. EDIT: Should have read more of the thread before posting.
  3. I would rather have Narveson start for us. However, as long as he is on the team, i guess i can choke down 4-5 starts by suppan before they replace him with Narveson(i won't be happy about it tho).
  4. Braun just keeps making me love him more and more. With his love for the city and the team and the entire region in general, i think he is earning the nickname "Mr Brewer". He truly is a loyal guy and is a perfect pick to rep the franchise.
  5. The Rock said that? Yea, not trying to knock him, but that doesn't shock me that much. Only because i just got off work. I had to look up who he was too.
  6. If Larry Harris was still GM, i would worry. But right now, hammond is doing just about everything right. I'll trust this move for now.
  7. No worries man, i do that all the time. I should have specified more what i meant.
  8. Seems to me they are setting up a Christian/Edge match for the title later this year. I really like Sheamus, so i hope he wins, but i doubt it. CM Punk/Mysterio should be a great match, as will Taker/HBK.
  9. I have only been able to make 2 games this year. If i lived closer(about 50 miles outside of town), i would go to alot more. But you are right, i sat in the top row at midcourt, and the view was better than i thought it would be. Closer seats are spectacular, and it's a very nice arena for it's age.
  10. If he gets corrective lenses, you don't think something 60 feet away would be clearer? As someone who is also nearsighted, i can tell you that when i put my glasses on, i can see MUCH better at those distances, at much greater detail. They identified that he is nearsighted, so if they correct his vision, he should be able to see greater detail(i.e. the spinning of the ball as it approaches) farther away than he would without corrective lenses/lasik.
  11. Bill Simmons giving the bucks some love, and Reppin the "FEAR THE DEER" phrase. Pretty awesome to see him giving milwaukee fans so much praise that he actually wants to see a home playoff game in the BC. http://sports.espn.go.com.../100323&sportCat=nba
  12. I thought the Milwaukee location was on the fast track to open in time for the 2010 season, while the Lake Geneva location was the one delayed. For some reason i assumed that was the LG location he was talking about. after re-reading the post, i could very easily be wrong.
  13. I agree completely. I hate seeing the Atlanta Braves celebrating Boston and Milwaukee accomplishments. Twin fans don't care what the Senators did. It isn't "their" history, and they know it, so they don't celebrate it.
  14. There were rumors it was also supposed to open in November, then December, then Feb, so i'm not holding my breath. But it would be nice.
  15. Are you looking for free, or for a paid one? I use symantec endpoint protection, i like it alot.
  16. That's too bad, but i expect we will see Butler back in a Brewer uni before the season is up.
  17. That's what i was trying to get at, i must not have conveyed it very well.
  18. A 29 year old middle infielder(who also dabbled in 3B and the OF) who has a career OPS of .529. Pretty much a case of Doug had no place for Treanor, so may as well get something of value for him, i guess.
  19. Yep, i am sure they also have a better influx of money from the TV contract, because of the bigger market size. I forgot to take that into account.
  20. Ajay has it right, there is no way Bradley is bipolar based off of his tantrums.
  21. We draw more fans, and we should be able to resign Prince. However, you must keep in mind that the Twins have one of the richest owners in Major League Baseball. Now that Carl Pohlad passed on, the purse strings have been untied. If Mark A had as much money as the Pohlads, i wouldn't doubt a deal would happen. However, given ownership's limited funds, i can see it being a problem. Hopefully i am wrong as we will see a deal announced at some point.
  22. SCSU has a really good team this year, and could easily get to the title game, if they play up to potential. Sure they lost to some bad teams, but that's gonna happen. I fully expect SCSU and UW to meet in the regional Final, and it should be a real good game.
  23. Sad to hear, but a nice break for the badgers.
  24. The Twins themselves only came into existence in '61, but for some reason they kept the Senators history, so they have that extra 59 years on them.
  25. No matter where Chicago ends up(which won't be below 11th), we will trade picks, so we will get a lottery pick, AND make the playoffs this year. Hammond seems to be making all the right moves so far.
