Turnbow signed with the Marlins today. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/83037387.html

UtilityInfielder, Dude, don't worry about writing something stupid. Everybody here does that(want proof? read the drunk threads). I recently started collecting myself(probably 3-4 years ago), and have very little money(just starting my career), so i feel your pain. Also, a small collection is nothing to be embarrassed about. It's your collection, be proud. Besides, if you do choose to get a big collection, it will happen. Do you think BHF or Matt got their monster collections in one day? Heck no. It takes time, but it is time well spent, IMO. As for the 20,000 people, i doubt there will be more than 6,000 at any one time(especially with the braun/fielder announcements).

Meh. We'll see if he has anything left in the tank. I doubt it, so i figure he won't get much playing time.

Link worked for me. As for the article being legit, i would wait until it is picked up or confirmed by someone else first. The bleacher report really is just a bad rag all together.

I'll take the over, but not by much.

I wish. It's the brewer logo for this year's celebration.

BIG showdown next week with UMD. If we can take 3 points next week too, UW would be in great shape.

Glad to see him make the tough decision and follow his heart.

I agree 100%. If they are gonna stick with only 5 minutes, just turn it into a shootout.

Stats are so overrated. Better make me some popcorn, this is about to get good.

I agree. Andy made conan really funny back in the day. Glad to see he is back.

Better too early, than too late, in my opinion. EDIT: Quick question, I was planning on bringing a jersey for yount to sign. where would the best place be, on the number, or on the jersey itself?

someone in another thread said Yo was getting the April 11th bobblehead day.

What did you search? I was just there and saw nothing with those prices for the august 29th game... In fact, the prices on there are insane... I searched brewers date/date(as well as opposing team date/date) . sellers might have pulled the items and changed the prices tho. Those pro sellers are quick on the trigger.

I like this signing. It's cheap, and having an extra, average lefty can't hurt a rotation that was as bad as our last year.

I lucked into two of these games(x-mas presents), and just bought two others online for VERY cheap. Should be a fun year. I can't wait!

Just a heads up guys, check out ebay today. Since this was JUST annouced about 4 hours ago, the prices for these games on ebay are pretty low. I was able to get 2 tickets to both the hank aaron, and the cecil cooper game for about $45 total.

I thought Brian Elliott was pretty good. Granted, that was 3 years ago now.

I was in LG last week, and it didn't appear open yet, but the building has had ALOT of work done onto it.

waaaaaahhhhh! I drank 8 beers tonight and didn't have to pay for more than the first(cool bartender + chick who wanted to take me home = free beer)!

Good for Tracy! DePaul is an uphill battle, but i wish him the best the rest of the year.
  22. berniebrewer4life
how early should i get there? Also, how long are the waits for the big name guys? I haven't gone in a while. Thanks.
  23. berniebrewer4life
    Same. I'd love one.

Dave, I'll check out that comic. I haven't started PP&Z yet, but seeing as i am going on a hunting trip for 10 days after xmas, i figure i will have some reading to do.
