  1. As someone who is less than a year away from finishing school and heading off to the academy, i can tell you, that's exactly right. He wasn't disrespecting law enforcement at all, the fact that HY brought it up is kinda silly.
  2. I believe it was said he is a mall cop, not an actual cop.
  3. If anybody has an email where i can reach the folk in charge of this, i will send them an email explaining why he doesn't deserve such an honor.
  4. Thanks invader, i knew it was some kind of firm.
  5. Isn't he still a partner in a law firm(or something to that line)? The guy still has a business to run in LA. I think once summer gets here, he'll be here more often.
  6. Honestly, I would have settled for a simple Photo with the guy, handing the ball over, and maybe a Ball or something. However, this part made my stomach turn. Coghlan said he finally managed to drive down the asking price to the photo, an autographed ball and one of his signed bats. But when Coghlan handed over the goods, "he wouldn't give me the ball." If you wanna make high demands, that's fine i guess. But to withhold the ball after what you agreed upon was handed over to you says a lot about the type of person HY is. Hopefully this isn't true, but from the stories i've heard, it probably is.
  7. As do i. I hope he gets another shot, maybe as a september call up.
  8. I know it's a small sample size, but the guy is a career .285(i think) pinch hitter. He's worth a line on a deal IMO.
  9. Because most fans are simply hypocrites If Braun was on their team, nearly all the fans who talk crap about him now, would instead love him and be mocking those that rip on him. Bingo. Cub fans have A-Ram, and Zambrano as far as having a great player who could take some class lessons, but you never hear them rip on those guys. The Cardinals have Pujols, and so on and so forth.
  10. I'll be there tonight, i won't boo or really applaud him. I have some positive memories of him(a walk off homer in an extra inning game vs the expos comes to mind). But i don't really think enough of him to go one way or the other.
  11. A sad day indeed. Maybe someone else will pick up the title.
  12. I'm not shocked manny did it, i am shocked he owned up completely.
  13. I'm a huge Rome fan and an avid listener when I can actually get it in on my radio in my office. I have thought about becoming a member so I can hear any of the parts I miss and really want to hear. Is it worth it? How much is it?There is actually a radio station out of tampa that streams Rome live free of charge. That's usually who i go with.
  14. My fiance and i both got one, unfortunetly, mine broke off at the foot. So i will have to glue that one. anybody know a good glue to use on these bobbles?
  15. I'd say i'm shocked, but i'm really not. The big allegation being overlooked here is the pitch tipping.
  16. Looked to me like he was going VERY hard into 2nd with a foot up(also looked like he was arguing with the first baseman). I would have done the same.
  17. When at the stadium, i buy local(to me meaning Wisconsin beer). It just doesn't seem right to bring a Bud to a game.
  18. That will be tough with more guys becoming arby eligible next season, and probably needing to acquire some other pieces. I wouldn't mind keeping him again, but I don't think it's a viable option for Milwaukee. Hopefully Lorenzo Cain will be ready for next season. Cain looks like his season is done, so i doubt he will be ready.
  19. Super mericado is a bodega here in elkhorn that has 3-4 lb burritos for $5. Super stuff.
  20. I sell alot of GPS systems so i have a bit of knowledge about em. The price difference is mostly dependant on how many POIs are in the machine. If you plan on doing alot of travel, then i would go with the higher POIs(as knowing exactly where the next gas station is while in montana is pretty important, as there might not be one for another 100 miles). If it is just to find the closest route, or trying not to get lost, settling for the models with 1-2 million POIs is perfectly fine. Text to voice(saying street names and "turn right in X feet") is pretty much standard issue now, so don't worry about not getting that if you go for the cheaper priced models. As far as name brands, Garmin, Megellian(sp?) and tom tom are the best. However nextar isn't a bad brand either.
  21. My friend had one too. I think the reason the system died so quickly was because there were really very few games released not only at launch, but within the first year. Just not much of a selection.
  22. More years than not he works the loge. Still, i don't buy beer from the vendors, with the exception of the Ice man. Who needs a shiver!!
  23. I second the mobile version of the site. I have this listed on my favorites on my phone, even tho i can't really use this site much from it.
  24. Sorry if this is off topic but I want to get this straight. People from Minnesota bring fish to Alaska and put them in a lake to catch? Why not just catch the fish that are native to Alaska? If you like catching Northern Pike so much why not just stay in Minnesota and catch Northern Pike? That is so stupid. It's like rounding up a bunch of whitetail deer and flying then to Africa then hunting them on a safari. These are the same people who don't know the difference between a grey duck, and a goose, so i would expect this kind of thing. http://mr-verb.blogspot.c...duck-duck-gray-duck.html
